43 countries - including AUSTRALIA for the 2nd time - competing, two packed semi-final shows, one awesome final, all in Stockholm, Sweden, in 2016. Where are all those crazy Australian fans? Are you ready?
Who are your favorite entries this year? What are winner songs for you?
How do you watch it? What do you do (food, drink, games) during the ESC nights?
Lot's of upbeat songs this year.
Finland, Netherland, Russia, Armenia(!!!), Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Belarus, Australia XOXOXO, and Belgium
are acts I am really looking forward to.
And you? All songs e.g. on the related channel under

love the old TV footage and technology used when it was just starting out!
A history lesson from an interesting view point: amidst the cold war, competing with rock'n'roll on the rise ...
a continent trying to come together in peace
I am 20 min in ... 1970's Irland win ... and I am crying .
HAHAHAHA, LMAO for Sweden protesting against ABBA's win, LOL, didn't know that happened.
1982, Reagan meeting with Thatcher and "A little piece" winning for Germany ... and crying again .
Celine DION ... This year's Swiss singer is compared with her a lot ... does that help?
Micheal Flately and Riverdance oh those Irish .
"Eurovision came out of the closet in 1998." Is it mainly a gay show? What do you think?
Estonia's Singing Revolution has me crying again ... Quote

Thanks to their great (Irish and gay and naugthy and adorable) commentator Graham Norton, THE country I want to immigrate to each May .
I hope they bring his classical line "It's like the gay wedding I'll never have" from 2014 in Copenhagen . Looks like I am not the only one here who loves this guy, they went straight into his booth and he had no idea what was coming .
An even closer look at the situation in Ireland around 1970
and the difficulties of security after 1972s attack on the Olympics and Israel's debut in 1973.
Olivia Newton-John before she starred in Grease ...
Johnny Logan ... and Johnny Logan again ... and again "he should have been a bigger star than Elvis", I think he was, somehow Mr. Eurovision
1982 has me crying again ... no wonder Ralph Siegel (song writer) is trying for some 40 years to write another winning song.
Jon Ola Sand ... I want your job .
yeah, great compliments for the 2014 show from BBC .

I have for a while been wondering if the views on you-tube are able to reflect the winners for the contest.
So far, the most viewed songs are Poland (3.3 million views so far), Bosnia & Herzegovina (2.9) - which is having a come back this year, great their song is so well received, I also like it a lot! - Australia (2.8), Azerbaijan (2.6), Malta (2.5), Armenia (2.5), France (2.5). Although the Moldavian song has less than 300.000 views, it's one of my favorite songs this year , but well that's Eurovision. In comparison, some other songs have less than 200.000 views ...
Okay, so my Top 5 for the 1st semi-final on 10th of May
Armenia (I want the guy in her video )
Czech Republic
Cyprus
Netherlands
Russia (When he sings "You are the only one" he speaks right to my heart )
My Top 5 for the 2nd semi-final on 12th of May
Australia
Belgium
Switzerland
Ireland (sending a former Westlife singer, yeah-hey)
Belarus
... and with little hope Denmark (600.000 views, not too shabby) Quote

LOL, I am using the numbers from the official playlist of the Eurovision channel, loosely rounding the hundred thousands.
But I make typos ... Bosnia & Herzegovina (2 million views), I wanted to put 1.9 I guess ... Thank you for taking the time to spot errors . Quote

I agree, he is yummy and this deep voice gets me every time .
But what about the Danes ? What a foursome that would be !
I'll see them live in Tivoli Gardens after the finale ... should I propose ? Quote
