This lovely gem, posted by Kane Boi recently, suggests that a topic like this could be useful, interesting and fun too.

This topic is not intended to be disrespectful to any of the great guys using English as a second language. They help to make this a wonderful, truly international site. There can also be misunderstandings between younger performers and older members. All part of the learning experience.

as a member who has been on the site for over 6 year i can tell you on this site both words mean the same thing :bulb

I have been in private shows where I've told performers that they have great thighs.

Two or three performers have looked puzzled and asked me: "what are thighs?"

[thigh = part of the leg between the hip and the knee]

Same here, sexy thighs are hardly known. I am used to say leg instead, but some even get THAT wrong ... I mean, you know it IS a certain part of the legs.

I also find well defined collarbones sexy ... no way I can explain that without a book about anatomy ...

Two related phrases that cause problems are "head-on view" and "side view". But it might be me that is at fault for using the wrong phrases... :winkwink

Very often the performer will be sitting on a sofa or bed facing the cam. This is the "head-on" view.

To make a private show more interesting, so that the performer doesn't spend 10 or 15 minutes stroking in exactly the same position, I will often suggest changing to a "side view". Sometimes the performer doesn't understand, and I need to explain.

The "side view" is where the performer's body is across the screen. Head on one side of the screen and feet on the other. This makes full use of a wide screen.

I enjoy shows much more when the performer can show different views, and I think other members do too...
