There's nothing special about you, every member who enters the room gets exactly the same greeting
Not all models use it, and I think it's fair to say not many members like it
The auto greeter has been discussed before in this thread :

I don't think we'll be removing it. It's a tool that performers can use as they see fit.
It is ridiculous to be greeted by a model when model is not even present in room.
Agreed that an auto-greet when the model is not on cam is a bit disingenuous. That being said, remember that the auto-greet has a dual-purpose; it also alerts the performer that you have entered the room. Previously performers (especially those with busy rooms) had no way of knowing when different types of customers entered since the new chatters were just added to a list of everyone in the room.
I like it more personal.
Agreed, but the auto-greet feature does not preclude a performer from greeting you personally as well.

Brad, I can understand how this could be a great tool for a model especially one in a busy room. How about further developing the tool then, so they can see it so it only shows on the models side of the interface. Giving them the heads up they might need, but without annoying the member.
For myself, that I never go back to a models room who has the autogreeter on.

I might send an email or write in room " Hello auto-greeter !!! How are you program ? Hello model [insert name] .
Models are often offened with a member's auto reply like that above .
If they have it on 3 visits in a row , I never return .
I never tip or private in an auto-greeter room .
Many models do not personal greet when they use that program . Several told they simply can spend more time on other sites due to the auto-greeter here . 1 model only looks here @ every 30 minutes because the members are greeted by the program .
I have removed some favorites when they have used it as "auto-beg" .
Very sad to see models being beggars as a member enters the room .
I love it too when no model is on the cam and you are auto-greeted . Hillarios as members talk and have no clue it is the auto-greeter .
I agree with Couch it is a program members see as very impersonal
It is very easy to "auto-close" my wallet and spending in those rooms . Quote

Thanks for your support Brad.. heh,,,But couch is right....If I want the model to know Im in her room, I'll be the first one to let her know... Quote
Models can always see who is in their room if they chck their room list
From a model's perspective, all the auto-greeter does is alert the model immediately a member enters the room. This saves her having to consult the room list to look for recent additions. I think Brad's statement "Previously performers (especially those with busy rooms) had no way of knowing when different types of customers entered since the new chatters were just added to a list of everyone in the room" was a little misleading - previously they had to keep an eye on the room list, now the auto-greeter saves them this effort
I think UglyCouch's suggestion that only the model should see the greeting message is a good one Quote

I got to play with it a little .
Some models have different messages for regular customers than VIP .
"Welcoms [insert member name] to my private room ! You will be my first VIP in private . Let's go now "
Message was so fun . I change to white in another name and only asked to go private without the exciting invitation the VIPs got
This program use by models makes it easy NOT to spend time or credits in thier room Quote
