Female Performer Chat: Is FOTY Contest legit?
I was wondering if someone can explain this contest to me. I assumed it was based on the country/continent you live in not your heritage. As an example Aphrodita P was winning S. America. but she disappered and suddenly Mariana was #1. Mariana's bio says she is in the USA and if you ask her in her room where she is, she says she is in Florida. I KNOW Florida is not in S.America. I understand she can say she is anywhere she wants to say. But how does a customer trust the contest is fair if there are doubts. I personally have doubts. I admit, I also don't like the Super Vote portion of the contest. Thank you.

Hello - hopefully I can help clarify how it works. Our system identifies the region the model is eligible for based on where they're being identified IP-wise as broadcasting from. A model can choose to opt-in and opt-out as they want as some models are more private with where they're located. If a model appears or disappears, it's because they're choosing to opt-in or opt-out. If a model says they're one place and are ranking for another, they could possibly live two places - half the time in one country for example, or have some other reason they live in multiple places.
Ultimately however it's as accurate and legit as we can make it be while still giving models the ability to protect their privacy. Quote

It's about as legit as third world election. GMAFB. Up until last week, there were models in the top 100 who had not logged in for the past 3 months. I made a note of one particular model and lo and behold, she's been here for the past 2 weeks all of a sudden. what a coincidence! Enjoy your contests. They mean nothing.

You said in the top 100 that means you were looking at the credit based Flirt of the Year contest which is based on how many credits they have earned over the whole year. So I would guess they made enough in the first 9 months to earn their position and no other model was able to pass them or move them off the list.
