Few of you know this but my ancestors were Norwegian. And in many ways I am proud of them. But I do have one significant bone to pick with them that does belong in this thread.

Consider the Norse mythology. Cool stuff. Not for wimps. The male gods form a complete and mighty set. Cleverly designed to complement each other... A brilliant piece of mythological work.

But the female gods are an incomplete set. Frankly they bore and depress me. How can it be that the Greeks and Romans have an Aphrodite, an embodiment of the sexual side of woomen, but the Norse do not. What is it, a desire to keep the mood bleak and hopeless all the time?

Well enough's enough I say. Time to revamp the pantheon. I propose Kate for Aphrodite of the Norse gods. She's got a great combination of raw beauty, power, and that kick ass ability that seems to lurk under the surface like a trap ready to spring. So mild seeming at first, so warm and friendly, but with that under current... just the kind of thing for Loki to screw with.

And in the realm of alliances... the Norse and the Czechs could do well to be allys... marry the pantheons and unite the wills... make a new colossus to stand astride the world...

Even the norse mythologie had a goddess of love and beauty : Freya. But be aware - she was not only the goddees of love and sexuality - she stood also for fertility.
If you wish Kate lots of k!ds ... she can easily compete with Freya. But who is gonna pay for the kindergarden later ?
I'd suggest to crown her with the title of being Athena - a known beautiful goddess who stood also for inspiration.
