New tag used to stay 1 week . The site changed it to reflect so many hours BEFORE the new tag is removed .
ALSO models who did not work for weeks - they return as "New" . Even veteran models who have took a long enough break .

As far as I know, it's 20 hours of online time and then the tag is removed.
Studio models with a fixed daily shift loose their "new" tag much faster than freelancers who log on and off for only a few hours every two/three days.
