Lindsey Banks recently tweeted that she would be stepping down as Ambassador for F4F. She has been a good Ambassador...and her contribution to the site has been remarkable. F4F has grown by leaps and bounds over the years that I have been a member...and some might say that perhaps the site, as huge as it is, needs Ambassadors from all the various regions. But speaking as a member from the USA...and recognizing that F4F is a US based industry...there is clearly a need for a Model from the USA to fulfill this role. I would like to nominate Olive Ray to serve as Ambassador for F4F (for reasons given below), and propose opening discussion for a nomination and voting process.
In my opinion, the role of Ambassador is best served by a model who exemplifies the standards of the site...one who is genuinely personable and enthusiastic...one who is universally liked and respected by models and members alike...one who has a demonstrated track record for being a wonderful spokesperson for the site...and one who is the standard for beauty, creativity, talent, and personality! In my opinion, Olive possesses all of these traits and so much more!
Clearly there are many qualified models...but in my opinion, the traits above would comprise the best fit for the site. Moving forward, I would like to propose a process to nominate a field of perhaps 5 models (perhaps more if consideration is given to recognize all the regions the site reaches) and open voting (perhaps through Twitter) to select the next Ambassador/Ambassadors for F4F. I did not know that such a role like an "ambassador" exist and what functions and duties such a person would have. Here on the site I could find nothing about it.
Independently from this: Is it not a decision of the site management who represents them in whatever? What have we as customers to do with it?
I assume that the majority of models are not from the U.S. so it is also unclear why it has to be an American. Quote

For what it's worth, Olive has expressed concern that this topic might create a rift among models. Let's please be clear that the subject under discussion represents my views and not necessarily those of Olive. In truth, Olive has always been about there always being enough love to spread around and has ALWAYS been so supportive of other models. Yes, the ultimate decision of who represents the site's brand might best be left in the hands of administration. But it might be interesting to have the member's voices be heard as well. Quote
