We went from vinyl to big magnetic tapes to small sized MCs, then CDs, then music on PC only.
I did a lot of the technical part, crouching under tables and plugging cables together. I got zapped an uncountable number of times.
We did sketches and every type of parties, inside and outside, young and old, happy and sad. Usually a gig every 2-3 days in the early times. I loved the weddings of course, I have probably seen many more than John Q. Public, including on boats.
Watched a striptease at a New Year Eve's party when I was twelve, hehe.
... of course I sang and played the guitar and knew a rhyme to say or a joke to tell - I had the cute bonus for a long while - learned dancing early on.
My parents were very happy when I finally got a driver's license.
Also, I have an aversion of fireworks from that ... too often I was asleep behind the curtains or in some backroom when they went off. Not a fan of those or any riot to this day.
During high-school I started programming websites with like-minded for small businesses close to our school. We were very proud of our little earnings, our start-up is part of my high-school still today .
Difficult to say if those were first jobs ... the actual "please hire me" came later and was just a summer job related to my studies. At university I started teaching so that was easy to get, lol.
Nowadays I beg people for money who have no idea about what I am doing to be able to employ myself for projects I want to do ... and it works, lol. Quote
