It pained me to read him say he is a published author, meanwhile i've yet to see him formulate a properly constructed sentence in history of his presence on this site!
But i'm glad you're an activist -- I am a naturopath -- I am about 80% vegetarian however I am also anemic, and BECAUSE I am a naturopath I am limited in what types of supplements I take for iron.. and usually meat is the only thing that keeps me going. I have to have it at least once a week. However I eat organic meats, -- halal and kosher, and research where I get my meat from so I know the animals are humanely treated!
I am just a rancher and not a english major ! The publisher has professionals that do all the nouns, adverbs , and that stuff i just have the story and they do the rest
For the animal right issue i wont go there because that a different subject and this post was about jobs .
I do love animals and in my opinion the bison is the most majestic animal in north america . The bison was close to extinction but due to ranches like mine the bison is roaming the plains again .
The survival of the bison is a very important part of the great plains ecosystem ! PEACE Quote
bison would indeed be extinct if it were not for ranchers.
It's just the actual killing process that upsets a lot of people, I think.
For mass production farms and ranches, animals are placed on an assembly line and done as fast and efficiently as possible, with no consideration for the animal itself. A throat being sliced, and a large animal like that being left to drain blood for 30 minutes+ before it dies.
There are better ways to do this, but it isnt cost effective for people. Why pay for better technology when you could just stab and drain. This is why a lot of organic and animal-aware farm products cost more. The process of the farming/raising itself costs more than your average farm/ranch.
It's just sad a lot of people do not care in the least bit.. and would rather save 50 cents on a piece of chicken than go for something better (even if it is healthier for you, with no hormone or steroid injections)

Yup....sounds like it. Quote
I am very well known in the biz. You've probably seen images of me around the world in all sorts of amusement parks (and some arcades), but I don't like to brag.
I stand with my hand out saying "You must be this big to ride." In the arcades it takes on a whole new meaning. Quote
Some friends of mine love bison.
Bison is the new Beef! Quote
mmmmm he can examine me on the table...as long as he's on top hehehe Quote
Most cheese contains "enzymes" and those enzymes come from the fourth stomach of a ruminant animal; i.e. rennet.
So if you see rennett (there are few synthetics available), then watch out.
You can google rennet and see what I mean. Some say that synthetic rennet us used, but most cheese manufacturers will not reveal what enzyme they are using. Quote

Me I eat meat but thats my choice - i understand others choose to not eat meat and i respect them for making that decision Quote
You are right - it is very difficult to live a vegan life. Gelatin is another no no for a vegan. Thank heavens I don't like gelatin based products. Quote
I eat completely organic, and love it!
plus I hate candy, so it isn't bad
If I do eat meat, it is usually turkey (local, humane, organic farms) and a die-hard salmon fan... (sorry kali) :'(
basically my rule of thumb is reading the ingredients, if there is even one thing on the list that takes more than 1 sentence to explain how it's made -- I won't eat it. Why would you want fake stuff in your body anyway Quote
