Donnie and Marie Osmond - I have always loved them and have seen their show in Vegas. I even got to meet them!

I have been to a lot of concerts in my time, but the best concert I have ever been to is my favorite group, or band "Rush", which was their "Test For Echo's Tour", when it was the first time they had ever gone out on tour without a supported backup band, or group. I do remember, when the date was, and it was on Fri. May 16, 1997, at General Motors Place in Vancouver, when it was one of the first concerts, or first ones to be performed at that venue. It was my fourth time seeing them in concert, and I was living in Abbotsford at the time too. The previous times I had seen them at the Pacific Coliseum, also, in Vancouver during their "Roll the Bones' Tour", and twice at Maple Leaf Gardens during their "Power Windows' Tour" (My second concert I have been to), and during their "Grace Under Pressure's Tour" (My first concert I have ever been to). I was living in Brampton, Bramalea at the time. They are three, very, talented, and gifted musicians. Their stage set up is really good, and they put on an amazing, stage show with lasers. :guitar

I'd have to say that U2 has consistently been the best concert I've been too, not just because I enjoy their music, but because they are always have the best show and stage presence. It's almost spiritual.

I frequent many large (and small!) music festivals around the country and out of the many shows I see every year these are my favorite.

For honorable mention I have to name my top 3 concerts from this year.... Bruce Springsteen, Phish, and Snoop Dog... (anyone care to guess my favorite music fest?)

Other great ones: Pink Floyd '77, Emerson, Lake and Palmer '70 something, David Bowie '04, Roger Waters '07, DEVO '80's, Jeff Beck, Return to Forever, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Tower of Power, Average White Band, Frank Zappa, the list goes on and on.

Saw the Stones in Memphis 1999. Backstage passes, free beer and food, pinball with Mick's daughter Georgia and stood in the aisle in front on the front row.

This dates me, but the U2 War tour back in 83. They were a "new" band, and it was a small venue, but you knew they were something special. The Joshua Tree tour was also excellent, with the bodeans as the opening act.

Recently Coldplay and Snow Patrol. I was surprised what a great show Coldplay did, i wasn't expecting it to be so energetic.
