Are you excited for the Oscars closing in?
What are your favorite movies and who are your favorite actors/actrices this Oscar season?
I would love to know, how you (if you, lol) celebrate Oscar night, because being European means, when you\'re dedicated, then you sleep only an hour on that workday Monday after the show
. I trust my local cinema and hundreds of other movie lovers to create a vibrant and dramatic environment for this show. It has been the most fun in recent years and you can be sure to make new friends 
.

If I'm watching the 88th Academy Awards, then I'll be at home to do it. It'll probably be on my own without anyone watching them, with me. I think the set up of them has changed a lot in the last few years.

If I'm watching the 88th Academy Awards, then I'll be at home to do it. It'll probably be on my own without anyone watching them, with me. I think the set up of them has changed a lot in the last few years.
Derek, I hope that with this thread we can connect people and all think about each other that night. This year, I'll be alone, too, new job, new town, not many people around, who are Oscar-crazed like me.
I'll have Spanish Tapas on my menu, what is your "go-to" food?

A good movie for Oscar would be one about Leonardo Di Caprio not getting an Oscar..and the irony ..the actor that plays him gets the Oscar..

It's Oscar night, ladies and gentlemen!
who'll have the best outfit on tonight ? Who'll do or say something stupid on the red carpet? Is Jennifer Lawrence doomed to fall over her feet again? Will Chris Rock make many jokes about no Black actors/directors etc. being nominated this year? Will he curse?
