...Models/Performers in case you are not aware, ending a group chat before time runs out will cause you to loose the credits that were pledged to you.
...I was in a Group Chat yesterday where a member told the Performer to end the Group Chat, so he did. Even though he did everything he said he would do, he lost the 800 credits that were pledged to him.
...I was unaware that the credits would be returned to our accounts until I checked my account later that day.
...I contacted VS. Support to see if they could do anything to help the performer in this case, unfortunately there was nothing they could do.
...Models/Performers please DO NOT End a Group Chat early even when told by a member that it is alright to do so.

Did the model at least ask the other members in the show if it was okay ending early? Even though the model did all he promised to do there were still other members than the one to consider.
I don't have issue with VS not being able to do anything. It was the model's choice to end the show early. VS did a good thing by implementing Group Chat. (It is what Party Chat should have been all along in my opinion.) I don't see how they could foresee this situation occurring afterall, Group Chat is a "contract" between multiple members and the model. I am surprised the other members present agreed to the early ending even if the model did all he promised. The group could have just talked till the end of the timer or if feeling generous you all could have let the model take a break until the time ran out. Sounds like this was a learning experience all around. I'll be aware next Group Chat.
Thanks for bringing this situation to light and looking out for the models. Quote

Did this member know what would happen? If so, they are the lowest of the low. I hope everyone who was part of the group chat reads this and sends their pledge as a virtual gift or tip to the model. I HATE it when people behave like this. Quote

...Asti the member did not take the model private. The model went on break because he needed to replenish (if you know what I mean).
...Had I known that the model would loose his pledges I would have advised him not to end the group chat.
...Kheldar, I have a suspicion that the member did know this would happen and he would get his credits back. I now think this because he told the model 2 times to end the group chat. Unfortunately for the model it was his first group chat which went very well, but he did not get rewarded for his fine performance. As you suggested, I did send the model virtual credits in the amount of my pledges.
...My main purpose in posting here is to let all Models/Performers know that they can loose their rightfully earned pledges by ending a group early even when they are told by a member that it is ok.
...I love group chats and I don't want anything like this to happen again. Now that I am aware of this, it will not happen in any group chat that I am in. Quote
Yeah, we were told this about Group Chat when they first rolled out the idea, but you know how some people can be when it comes to understanding everything about different show types, rules, etc.. .....Especially for some of the ESL models.
Yes, models beware, if you end your Group Chat 1 second early, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CREDITS!
Oh, and to whoever felt like fucking over a model to get back their 50 credits, you're a truly pathetic specimen. I hope you enjoy being a dishonest cretin because it seems like you're trying very hard to be one. I'd say more, but I don't want this post removed. I think y'all know where I'm going with this though.... Quote

You might consider whether you should raise this in the Female Performers forum as well (if someone there hasn't already raised it). Perhaps Jake or one of his fellow models might want to raise it in the Studio and Performers forum.
Like you I am a huge fan of Group Chat, and want to do everything I can to make it successful. Sharing experiences like this is important. (I raised a separate topic Group Chat: Comments, Experiences and Advice).

That is among the lowest of low here. I am so tired of the mentality of getting something for nothing. I'm struggling right now but am trying to change that. I spend within my means, so if there is something I want, hell if there is something I need I may have to forego it. I must prioritize. Luckily my favorites understand my situation. All that said I would never take advantage of a model for my benefit especially when many are here due to bad economic crises of their own.
I know we frown on calling people out in the forums and myself have held back in a particular situation but sometimes I want to toss that notion out the window. Quote

Phil,
I have said it before and I will say it again; you are the nicest person I know. Thank you for always looking out for us. It is true that we were all told that ending a show early would refund pledges, but as Jake said, some do not always read the fine print. That aside, it is so sad that someone would take advantage of a model.

It is sad a member goes that far
Phil - please email the model the name of the member who did stopped the group .
At least the model will know never to trust them in the future
Ending of group early was meant mainly for "technically problem" and posted by Admin in original group introduction .
It seems 1 bad apple has found a way to try to exploit it and tell models to end it
Thank you Phil for pointing this out . Quote

...LickaU, sadly I don't remember the name of the member who told him to end the show. At the time it didn't seem important. It was only a while later when I checked my account and realized that the credits for my pledges had been refunded that I realized what must have happened.
...I even wrote a nice review for his group chat show. I feel really bad for him.
...I will be doing some investigating, hopefully I will catch this member in the act of trying to do the same thing again. Quote

Phil, I just have to let you know that this was a VERY honorable action, and even though this did not occur in my room, I appreciate your kindness towards my colleagues all the same. You should also know that you (and Kheldar both) have a STELLAR reputation within the model community. (hugs) --AF

For clarification:
1) Once a Group Chat ends, the MODEL can NOT end the Group early. Doing so will effectively break the "contract" established and the credits will be returned to the member.
2) However, MEMBERS are free to come and go in and out of the Group Chat, as they wish--with NO negative impact upon the model. Again, the model however needs to stay in the Group Chat. Personally, I have not run into a situation where ALL of the members leave the Group Chat. Logic would dictate that the model is still obligated to stay IN the Group Chat (even if there was no one in there) because members that left MAY come back to finish the show. This was NOT a situation that was explained to models. While I feel that such a situation is HIGHLY unlikely, if you have a concern about this, I would call VS Customer Service, for clarification.
Hope this clears the confusion guys. --AF

Phil - I wasn't too surprised that you didn't create a similar topic in the Female Performers forum, as I suggested here. It can be a bit less friendly than this forum, and there was a lot of ill-feeling at that time about male performers posting there.
You might be interested to know that Op Roo has now copied your original post and introduced it in the Female Performer forum, with appropriate credit to you. Pleased about that.

Pleased to welcome oilyjt to the forums (last post here). We both chatted at the end of another hot Igor Joney Group Chat. The posts we discussed are #51, #58 and #59 in the following topic:
