Male Performer Chat: empty rooms
it seems many times I click on a model’s room and the vid starts and I am only looking at an empty chair in an empty room... are models now waiting off camera until a member tips before they move in front of the camera? ... seems the site name “Flirt for Free” is woefully out of date in 2019 🤷🏼♂️

Frequently I'll hover over a room to see what's going on, before actually going in. More and more, there's an empty chair/sofa/bed. And I go back later to see if it's changed, and it hasn't. Who the H E double hockey sticks is going to go into an empty room? (opens door and peaks in...Hello....hello?).
While I appreciate that customer service will look in to complaints of empty rooms, seems to me that the patrons here shouldn't have to report such activity. Seems like the rooms should be monitored more closely and empty rooms dealt with...proactively. Quote

Well, that is a complaint many of us have. Sometimes they are answering a question from their monitor or admin in their studio. But, MORE LIKELY they are responding to WHISPER messages from others in the room (And, of course, you have no way of knowing if other users are in the room, if they are only talking in whispers, unless they are guest users who can't whisper.)
My favorite model is very friendly and will talk to anyone who talks to him. I keep telling him that long, drawn-out "whisper" sessions BORES THE CRAP out of everyone else in the room. Sure, if the matter is indeed PRIVATE, that is what it is for. But for general conversation with a first time visitor (how old are you, where are you from, how big is your .,.. etc.) WHY NOT reply in OPEN chat, so others can see (and perhaps get their questions answered so they don't have to ask them again). But he thinks it is an insult to take it public if the person did a whisper message. I can see his point, but it is still frustrating.
Yes, I can understand it if the model knows this is a BIG TIPPER and wants to keep him happy. But, in many cases, we are talking about lower tier registered users or first time visitors to his room. (Yes, I know models know if a visitor has credits, thought not how many, and usually will pay more attention to higher tier members and VIPs.)
The BEST chat rooms I have been in on F4F had LOTS of people conversing with the model (and each other, to some extent) in open chat. And I think those rooms were better for models in terms of tips, since we kind of egged on each other to do so! I am hardly never seeiing anything like that today. Quote

I personally don't make a big deal or care if the model isn't present. its there loss of money if they are not in front of it. I simply move along, Sometimes they step away to use the bathroom quickly, or grab something that is requested for them to get, outfit change, or cleaning up a mess off of themselves ... They are the ones loosing out on making money so for me...Who cares as long as they are not cheating at a contest that requires recorded time on air

I like the requirement of this Flirty contest that models have to be online to get votes, but more than a few guys (I don't go into the girl side) are logging in and leaving their rooms empty. I don't care except the model I'm supporting never leaves for longer than quick bathroom or food/drink breaks. I still appreciate the effort for fairness. Hope Flirt continues the trend.

I would assume the problem with "empty rooms" is more the models that do not work through a studio that provides them with a monitor.
My favorite model has both, and they are relatively strict on such matters. If the model will be gone for more than a couple of minutes (like a bathroom break, and that is sometimes not enough time, depending on the layout of the studio), they usually insist it be counted as BREAK and show that on the screen. If they take a break of more than 33 minutes, F4f automatically flips them from BREAK to OFFLINE, I have noticed. Some studios are very strict about a model answering a phone while online (let alone carrying on conversations), and some do not allow the model to EAT anything (bigger than a candy bar, maybe) while on camera.
Then again, we have seen the top porn star models eat COMPLETE MEALS online. (I saw one guy ORDER A PIZZA, got it delivered, opened it, ate some toppings off it, BEFORE finally going on lunch break!)
There is also one well-known male model/porn star who COOKS two or three of his meals ONLINE each day, as well as eats them! Yes, his fans love it, and tip him a small fortune for HAVING BREAKFAST! But ... I mean ... REALLY??

Idk Most forum posts have little or no value to me or my interests, but it's like with the models. Sometimes I pass altogether, others I drop in then move on, and on rare occasions I find something interesting. I still like to have all the options. May as well post whatever comes to mind.

As for complaints generally, If there were no complaints, then I doubt that forums would even exist. This post is about empty rooms. Customer Service has already acknowledged that this really is a problem and they want to be notified about it. As for "just" going to another room, I choose my models very carefully. Finding another room takes me a lot of time and consideration. As a customer who has paid a lot of money and has a lot of experience on this site, I'm entitled to have certain expectations about models. If I see gross inconsistencies in behaviour among models that may involve matters of policy like whispering and tipping, then I will check the forums to see what others think and do about it besides discussing it with the model. There's a lot of valuable information in these forums!
