Instead of bumping an old thread I thought we could start a new one on the subject.
Do you guys leave reviews for your models? Why or why not?
Performers: Do you appreciate reviews? How important are they to you?
It seems there are various opinions on the subject.
I like to be an informed customer.. if I'm shopping around for something, I use Amazon and sites like it to read product reviews. If I'm shopping around for someONE, say at a dating site, I want as much info as possible and won't usually email if all they have up is a photo.
I always say how much I appreciate a good review on my bio page... being new, I feel like they help me, and so if a guy enjoys my company I like him to say so. I also show my appreciation
same as for a tip.

In another thread I have brought up a similar questioning of reviews... Reviews are only usefull if all are posted. F4F only posts the most positive of reviews (some of which read like love letters!). Like other sites that have reviews of restaurants or other businesses I usually disregard the overly positive and overly negative and somewhere in the middle is the "truth". Consequently I feel the reviews on F4F are completely useless...
Also a few months ago I entered a model's room who i had never seen before, after a few moments chatting he went prvt with another member and I used this time to look at his bio... I first noticed his fantastic photos and as I scrolled down to read his stats I noticed he already had 7 reviews of prvts from 7 different members and had only been on F4F for 2 days... I thought WOW, very impressive until I clicked on his VOD and there were only 2... ... not jumping to conclusions here BUT, again, I feel reviews on F4F are completely useless Quote

You don't have to take a model private to leave a review; so the VODs won't necessarily match up. I've had a lot of guys leave me good reviews just from my free room, which is good; obviously it's not like "He was great in private" but things like "Really good personality and good to talk to" etc.
I understand your point about the no negatives allowed; it appears some negative reviews are allowed... guess it depends on how it's worded and how harsh it is. But I have seen some 1-star models. Quote

VODs don't appear on the site straight away. It's normal for them to appear after like 24 hours (unless the model adds a title etc). Not to mention that some VODs could have been marked private. Quote

I always leave reviews
I enjoy writing them. They are mostly positive, but with subtle differences. I have left a few less than flattering reviews that were posted. I think you just can't be too nasty.I was looking at one models bio and he had three 1 star reviews. There are some out there!

You make a great contribution to this site with your reviews, Phil. They are very informative and helpful.
In one recent case I wanted to do a review for a model whose private and party shows I had enjoyed. I had in my own mind the key points I wanted to make, then I saw that you had just posted a review which neatly said all the things I wanted to say. So I just made the comment: "I agree completely with Phil-USA's review"

I leave a review for all my favorite models or if I have a particularly good show with them. I find that it's the least I can do.

To add to appreciation of Phil-USA's reviews which I have found to be literate, gentle and true. I read a review by him for a private I had with a model on 11th June and it was spot on. In fact he captured the essence of the private in his review better than the one I had written (Actually shouldn't that annoy me?) LOL.

To add to appreciation of Phil-USA's reviews which I have found to be literate, gentle and true. I read a review by him for a private I had with a model on 11th June and it was spot on. I am still stung by the time I posted 2 very nice reviews for a trio of performers, nobody else has, and for good reason, they don't deserve a good review and I made a big mistake. I feel bad that some users might read my reviews and take them private based upon my recommendation.

However, I don't think the reviews are useful because almost every non-5 star review never gets posted, and nearly every model has 5 stars, and those that don't have at least 4, unless they are new and have no stars.
