It is great to see that this forum is well-used. However, the large number of topics about individual performers can make it harder to find topics of wider interest.

There are a number of new topics which could be raised, but may not be worthwhile without some better way of highlighting them. One option would be to have a VS sticky thread here entitled: Useful and Interesting Topics.

Some new topics of wider interest could include:

- Group Chat: Advice for Members (an edited re-post of Adam Foxx's post in topics below)

- Group Chat: Advice for Models (based on my post in the Group Chat Advice topic below)

- Favourite VOD Links (includes all types of shows. Nice idea, suggested by Domenic Prize)

- Ask the Performers (place for answers to members' questions on variety of subjects)

- New Arrivals (topic promoted by VS and studios in which all new models post)


I am sure there are a number of other ideas. All comments welcome.

In the meantime, I have included a list of some current Useful and Interesting topics below. I have also given this topic a title which I hoped would allow it to be found easily. By clicking on the Topic header the forum topics are sorted alphabetically. This starts with numbers 000 and should appear top or near the top. Not sure why it doesn't.

The last post there was only a week ago, and the topic has already dropped way down the list (middle of page 2) as so many others do.

Although no-one is posting in this reference topic, I am finding it quite handy. I sometimes do a search for "000" when I can't remember the exact titles of some of the topics listed here.

I had hoped that this topic would appear top of the list by clicking on the "Topic" header. It is a pity that the alphabetic sorting of topics doesn't work properly in the forums - but I think that is a fairly minor issue. Quote

If a thread is interesting to the flirt members and models , then it will stay up as people are still contributing , when the members stop posting then it will fall away naturally....if it is a topic that is extremely important to someone, well they can always chase it and give it a bump - if others are still interested in it, then it will stay up for awhile again.

Good to know your opinion, Bally. All responses are welcome.

Sorry if I appear like a "librarian", but I like to do things for the benefit of other forum users. I would encourage others to do the same. A few points:


1. the bumping of topics can be very random, a bit tedious and might annoy some people. With bumping, it is just a matter of luck whether the right people see the topics at the right time

2. relying on bumping means that duplicate topics are posted. As a small example, a few models were posting separate Twitter topics because they weren't aware of the Domenic Prize topic

3. the Adam Foxx topic at the top of the forum kept dropping down the list. I made some effort (in the General Discussions forum and direct messages to VS) to get it made into a sticky thread at the top of the forum. Adam and others have thanked me for my efforts

4. your "leave things as they are" approach suggests that you are not in favour of sticky threads

5. helpful indexes seem to be welcomed here. I included an index in my Best VOD Cum Shots topic and a number of people have thanked me there

6. as an alternative to sticky threads, it seems potentially useful to be able to highlight certain forum topics by clicking on the Topics header - which then gives an alphabetical listing. At the moment that shows one of Denny X's many posts at the top. I think you would agree that this topic is a little bit more useful to anyone visiting the forum for the first time

I think it will help to sort through the topics you might be interested in and makes it easier to find topics, which sliped down the list, but may be of gerneral (or personal for that matter) interest nonetheless (to me for example the "free-rider" discussion).

And it prevents posting seeemingly new topics, which has been already discussed at length in the past (which happened to me).

Thanks for supporting the idea of having a topic like this for easy reference. I think the topic needs quite a bit more interest and support, and the list needs knocking into shape, before I would relaunch it and put it forward as a possible sticky thread. However, VS haven't ruled the idea out.
