I encourage you to continue reaching out to these individuals. I know many of the models on here have day jobs and are actually pretty busy people. Don't take their silence or lack of a speedy reply as disinterest, they will appreciate that you continue to try and get to know them better.

I have my favorite models since 2005 and I only
consider "friends" those that I have met in person after many years
of chat and getting to know each other...
Even then I still remember this is their job and
I'm just a client... Undue expectations end up in loosing
that friendship... Remember this is ALL A FANTASY!!!
REAL LOVE AND SEX ARE OUT OF THE QUESTION!!!
Yes...models ( and members) come and go quickly so when
you meet model you really like make sure you patronize him as much as you can...
The great majority of models leave because they don't make the huge
amounts of money they are led to believe they will make...
Nothing anyone can do bout it... we all come and go!!!...it is the
nature of the business man!!

I feel your pain . I've been a member for four months now and have lost so many dear friends already. They think they are not handsome, muscular, slim or whatever enough to survive on this site. One told me, public transport to his studio is more than what he earns during several hours online ... another one spends for a similar reason some of his nights in his studio ... the list goes on.
Broke my heart, when a Russian twink told me he would quit after only 10 days online. Said he would stay, if more people were like me .
Sometimes I wonder, if being nice to a NEW model is making it worse for them when they realize you can be nice only a few times a months ;) Quote

Ht Dad Bear I think Chris summed it up pretty correctly. I think one has to stop referring to them as models and more as performers. It is very sad to see that a performer who you managed to get to know as a person has given up, but the site has changed so much over the last few years. More and more performer are somehow given the idea that their room will be flowing with credits. Many members are I think getting discouraged when you go into a room, say HI and the response is take me private. I am not saying that all performers are like this, but for the ones who don't do this it make it very hard for them.
I would like to think that there is a solution, but alas doubt there is. All you can do is hope that the time you managed to spend with that one special performer who has left the site at least showed to him that someone really did appreciate him.
