There is no need for privates an credits when models spend long chats whispering in open. Flirt say " whispers can be very disruptive to the overall chat experience. Please use them responsibly and only when necessary." but very few guests even try to do this. At the moment in most rooms the " Whispers = free pvt" equation applies.
And why do many guests just ignore rooms... all they see is nothing happening but the model whispering or chatting in other rooms
It works both ways though I have seen models who only reply to people who are whispering and totally ignoring those try to chat in open.... so much for open chat. Both ways however, both flirt and the model are losing income.. Is that good business sense?
The second problem is the number of " models" masturbating, cumming, sucking and having intercourse in open chat. But that is already known 17 out of 126 at the moment.

Why would people stay around if they see no one talking? Or if they see model so busy typing that they, intended or not, ignore the open chat?
A lot of open chat rooms are reduced to begging lately.
Members begging to see more of the models ( for free) or models begging for tips......( often while they show a lot mre than they should in public)
I dont think it makes anyone real happy this way.
And if a model decides to block whispering, well then members will have to respect that. Like they should respect all the rules a model wants to set in his room. If you want a conversation with him in private, then take him private ( what its meant for).
And if you dont like the rules of a model, then dont argue en go to an other room.
But it would be better if all models would set some rules in their rooms.....

The whispering coincides with all the anonymous tipping, no one wants to be seen in open or be known they are tipping. If the model is going to accept then live with it.
If they choose to turn it off or allow only certain levels to whisper then deal with lash out. Most of those members don't even read the forums. Then you have models that only whisper, what to do with that? I no more than enter a room I get a whisper.
It is a dilemma, models have to face wrath if they turn off whispers or face wrath if they keep whispers. Not everyone can be pleased! Quote

I agree, Twix. I can't think of one private I've had where whispering hasn't played at least some part. I also can't imagine how else a model communicates with trusted fans about the kinds of support they need at any given moment during open and party chats and during pledging. I think whispering is a huge advantage to models.
But like anything else on Flirt, models need to learn how to use whispering. In the first place, it would be helpful if models didn't unnecessarily initiate a whispered message. That makes me feel like I have to return the greeting with a whisper, and off we go. Verbal responses to whispers where possible keeps a model's fingers off the keys as well. Even if I come in and whisper a question, often something like, "Sounds good, Katie" may give me the answer without divulging specifics of my question. While not eliminating whispered messages, the room will appear more interactive with the model's verbal responses to the open comments as well as the whispered. That's how I've seen it done, and it seems to work well.

johnwit well said
The site is sort of out of control and as for the rules I think as long as the credits flow the site just looks the other way.
The whispering has it's benefits up to a point, but why a performer whispers HELLO to a member remains a mystery. The chatrooms tend to look very empty so why would any member wish to remain in the room in the forst place. Quote

enrico75 great to see your comment and yes the site has problems. Many performers are sort of out of control and the fact is if they give everything away in open chat they will most likely not last long on the site anyway. There is always another performer out there to take their place.
