Male Performer Chat: Group Shows: Comments and Experiences

I have been a big fan of Group Shows since they were first introduced (as Group Chat) in August 2011.
I often find that a number of my favourites are on-line at the same time. If I see one of my favourites is doing a Group Show I will usually go straight to his room. Those launching Group Shows are usually very happy to see an extra guy pledging.
There have been a number of changes since I posted an earlier topic here (*). I thought it would be good to introduce a new topic rather than add to the old one.
Performers now have much more flexibility about the size of pledges and goals, pledge period and show lengths. Some of the changes work well, and some work less well. Some types of Group Show work better than others. I have seen some performers using Group Shows in a variety of interesting ways.
Members and performers are invited to share comments and experiences here which might be of interest and help to others.

Good post Ronnie. I like Group Chats too since its a paid admission unlike party chats. What I like to do is join groups with new models I've had my eye on but haven't visited before. It lets me get to know them during the countdown and the show itself, which helps me decide if we are a match for private show. I like all the newer features, although the 30 minute countdowns are too long as I sometimes leave and forget to come back and pledge. Over the years the only negative experience I've had is when a model accepts less than the goal then doesn't perform the show he sold, it seems to be happening more often recently. Overall though it's a great feature for models and members I think.

I agree with what Brett said above. Group pledges are a good way to intro a performer, to see if he's someone you'd like to spend more intimate time with.
I've also fairly recently experienced performers who make a statement of what they will do (Huge cum show/first cum show of the day/etc), and as time expires, will accept a lesser amount, ie, requesting 3000 credits, but doing the show for 2500. Then, when the Group show starts, the performer demands another 500 or even 1000 credits to honour their commitment to provide what they said they would. This happened to me with the same performer 2 times; said performer deleted his profile, but then came back under a new name. Same guy -- he has a very unique look. I won't waste time with him again. yesgrop shows are so nice when nt all guys can take you privat/ we often have nice fun in it11 bt some assholes after show ask site fir refund/ after full cum show with 5 nice guuys the 6 asked for refund/ why it was nice cum show and ii got tips/it really sucks when guys do this

Sorry to hear that, Johnny. It sucks that a member asked for a refund for a good Group Show in which you delivered as promised.
If that member did it with you he probably does it with other performers. Hopefully VS will make a note of members who keep asking for refunds. I think performers can also warn other performers about problem members in the Studio and Performers forum.
I doubt that VS have much time to investigate small refund claims. If they do, they could look at the VOD of your Group Show. That would prove you were right, and avoid any arguments

3 of the BEST groups I ever attended had a theme .
1 - Built a Wardrobe to hold her outfits . Fast wit and very entertaining .
2 - THE Updates of REAL life . Some told about how University was going or simply the things that have changed in life . 1 model even showed Christmas presents she had bought for her family and friends and WHY that present .
3 - My weakness - Kitchen/Food shows

If that member did it with you he probably does it with other performers. Hopefully VS will make a note of members who keep asking for refunds. I think performers can also warn other performers about problem members in the Studio and Performers forum.
I doubt that VS have much time to investigate small refund claims. If they do, they could look at the VOD of your Group Show. That would prove you were right, and avoid any arguments

He wasnt performing he just kept asking questions./' for sure cock head in mouth it really like answering the questions wtf/ I can say this customer more that asshole he is dep deep shit asshole/ hes name JONW32 / if youll see him plese guys kick his ass for me/ thank you so much

also as you know models have stas of all tippers and this stats told me he gave just 50 for pledge and got full show with other guys/ also srvice refund him money for privat show/ but i didnt have privat with this customer he was just in group/ so hes lied twice abot me and about show/ i think f4f should do disput option to savemodels rights too not just customers/and show was recorded/ but f4f refund him money by the way Quote

Picking up this point in Brett's post, I agree that a pledge period of 30 minutes is too long.
Although I am drawn to performers who are doing Group Shows, I will quickly leave if it seems there will be a long wait for a show that is unlikely to start.
I have seen a long pledge period (30 minutes) coupled with an unrealistically high target (3000 credits) and high minimum pledge (150 credits), and have quickly moved on. I expect most members do the same, and the performer loses out.
I will sometimes pledge 150, 200 or more but always prefer to have the option of doing it in increments of 50. Quote

I have noticed quite a few group shows where the model accepts a lower amount then does not perform what is promised, and also where the full amount is received and the models refuse to perform what they promised anyway. It is disappointing.

Avoid group shows with Ben, Frank and Mike they promise action and fail to deliver. I had read their bio beforehand so I knew not to pledge. Other members in the room pledged and after the show ended expressed their disappointment.

Group Shows, introduced in 2011, continue to be the "tippers-only" alternative to Party Chat.
Members have often suggested that Party Chats should have a minimum contribution of 10 credits to keep out the "freeloaders". Group Shows are now so flexible that it is possible to do exactly this. I think that the performer could start a 30 minute Group with a topic of "Party in Group", a target of just 50 credits, and a minimum pledge of just 10 credits.
The pledge period can be the minimum (5 minutes) but the Group (Party) could start immediately if 5 members quickly pledged 10 credits each. Anyone else can join the Group at any time by pledging 10 credits.
Once the Group Show has started tipping can be exactly the same as in a Party Chat.
Do any members or performers have experiences of this (good or bad) which they are willing to share here?

I have experienced it with a fav model and I enjoyed it. With this alternative we had a great party show within a group with members and model having fun. The tips flowed from a majority as opposed to just the fan club members.
Normally we have a great party show that leads to an awesome finale of a group show but this is a good alternative if teh party chat is not going well.

I was reading the forum tonight... and I just want to say that your contribution to this forum is amazing, and thats not new to me... since i started here when I read the forum I first search for threads created or commented by my fans to see what they are saying lol then I check for yours and Phil-USA topics cause usually they are helpful or at least very interesting, you have a huge understanding of the site and thats why most of your comments are right on point about what users and models think... I still prefer the idea of a "ticket" party chat, where members have to give 10,20 credits to enter in a special party... I understand your idea about using the group show as a party chat for tippers, and I already thought about doing that, the problem for me is that it would be like "tricking" the concept of a group show to make it work as another tool that the website is lacking and they do have a good team that could/should create that...
I like the party chat cause theres no pressure... no timer, the way i like to use it is to have fun with my fans and get tips while relaxing having a good moment... I just dont like the idea of it being open even to greys,,, in the other hand I feel like group show is a "deal" made in a way that a model make his credits and the fans have their show wich is completely fine but group show is more of a "serius thing" not as"chill" as a party lol I dont remember the last time i did a group show so maybe im wrong and of course i think its a great feature and i understand and respect models and users who likes that and maybe I will use itsoon to remember how it works lol... but i still prefer the relaxing and fun idea of a party chat, I just wish there was this option and it was not like it is now, cause now it is a free chat with the flag PARTY to attract more people... , many members dont like the idea of tipping so others will have fun without helping andsome even making requests over other people tips... seems unfair...

Your ideal solution, which many agree with, is for the F4F team to create a new type of Party Chat for tippers only. F4F have recently stopped grey users from watching more than 2 minutes of a Party Chat, but that may be as far as they go in that direction. So I can't see Party Chat without freeloaders happening in the foreseeable future.
Meanwhile Group Shows are far more flexible than when they were first introduced. A flat rate 10 credits admission show can be started any time.
Good to see Twixel's very helpful post (#17) showing that this can work successfully. I hope other members and performers will share their experiences here. Perhaps together we may discover the winning formula... Quote
