BUT
Is it really fair in the final stages of the battle that the winner is not even online, and has spies in both rooms ( maybe members of the Ranidae family) and pumpkins being sent secretly and them not even appearing on the current position sheet? Surely the model should be on line for the end of the race so everyone can see the position of all the horses
This competition was far from a fair race ( yes I admit some bias as I was supporting one of the guys). Allowing the secret off line Tipping and voting takes the whole point of it being a contest out of the hands of the individual members.
What about it F4F maybe there is some way of ensuring fair and open completions?

This is truly a deterrent because I have no faith in you guys and fairness of your competition. If it's your policy to get the final tally, then WHY ANNOUNCE A WINNER then quietly change the payout result? Quote

There is no time requirement for the cash prize of the most pumpkins gained as there was for the crown.
The competitions have been like this for awhile, it is rare to see a fun contest with models and members working fun competition.

in my opinion F4F did it great, they did what they had to do. I was many hours on and i hope they will change something about this
thank you everyone who was there
Congrats to all models who put a hard work Quote

YES LITTLE KNOWN FACT. It wasn't even in fine print and I read fine prints. It's like Roger Federer wins the gold cup, but Novak Djukovich with the silver cup collects more money. Just an example. This weird mismatched system should be made clear.

And congratulations to Steve South, Dani & Javi, Stan Korz, Max Hughes, all the other winners...and everyone who joined in the fun!
It may not be a perfect contest, but it was tons of fun!

I ask... how and why can a guy who was the winner on the official results board be told much later that the result was wrong???
It easy, do not be online so anyone can see your position and have "peekers" in the other rooms who provide pumpkin tips for you that don't get recorded on the results board and then sneak a cash prize win in a race you did not even enter.
That is the way to win all competitions and races. Do not enter them fully, then give away free fan club memberships, free privates etc to the guys who tip you when you are not in the race. (Yes, this planning and arrangement does occur in fan club meetings)
Well done to the other nine guys who ended up on the winner's board and got their prizes, and sorry for the guy who was in 11th pace who got nothing because of a horse that was not running in the race. The same regrets to Chris Max, and the other guys who also were moved down in prize money.

There were many parts to this contest (as with pretty much EVERY contest the site hosts) but I don't know, for me when it comes to these holiday promo ones the only "real" (and I use that term loosely) is the performer who collects the most pumpkin/hearts/gifts/eggs/beer/whatever from the most unique users as those are a bit harder to tweak around.
At the end of the day, I tell myself that this is a business. Yes we can have fun and cheer for our favorites but the site gets a cut of whatever is collected and because of that, the rules will for the most part remain the same.
Regardless, congratulations to all winners and I did enjoy seeing those costumes ... although I didn't get to see that Zorro I wanted this year Quote

Where is this shown? Is there a link?
On the promo page, it lists the results. It was also tweeted.
