That suggests that you have bought VODs where there is no review (0 comments). Phil-USA and some other members take a lot of time to give reviews for VODs of all their shows and a number of other VODs they see. I would recommend that if you have just started buying VODs, that you look for the ones with great reviews.
As you have just found out, the number of views of a VOD is no guarantee that it is a great VOD. One of my favourite performers has a VOD that has been watched 250 times (no reviews). He does a much better cum shot in a VOD that has been watched just once (1 excellent review).

I think not necessarely, but its a good indication though. So, mostly I would say yes to what you stated, Ronnie.
I have seen VODs with and without reviews, some with many views, some completely without. And mostly, I have enjoyed the VOD very much. If you take the time to preview, to follow some other easys steps, you should not fail in enjoying your VODs.
Before I will take a model private, in most cases I do view a VOD and try to find on with comment or with rated stars on it.
What I take into consideration is also if a VOD is a part 2 of a show. In appr. 80 % of the cases it is that part, where them cum shot is done. As I like to see cum shots in the VODs, I check this before I buy a VOD.
Maybe it would be good, if the models would also try to describe more shows. They use to do that when they do the first shows, but later its tends towards zero. Its a lot of work for them, especially models with a huge fan base I know and appreciate that, but if they would at least highlight those later on, which they like too, it might be helpfull too.
Anyway, there is not one way correct to "solve" this. But it would be helpfull, if members comment on shows. Even on the VIP VODs there are seldom comments on shows, which is not such an amount of work to do.
But, who am I to criticise, right?
I have commented all the shows I have done so far, I commented all the VIPs VODs and I comment the ones I purchase too. Have fun watching and support our model friends, guys.

PS Interesting example from the December 3 daily VODs. Hot new performer Alexander Six has a VOD which has been viewed 31 times in 1 week - a very high total. I watched the 20 minute VOD, and was disappointed that the time runs out just as he starts his cum shot. I have added a review, and mentioned that. Wonder how many people will pay for the VOD because it is so popular - and how many will read the review? I will check up in a few weeks time! Quote

You do lots of excellent reviews, Phil. Some members use the review option to simply say "hot" or "good fun" but you always take the time and trouble to make helpful comments about the performer and the performance.

We have mentioned this problem in this forum before, I think. It caused a problem for me just now. I wanted to find a VOD for a particular model where I know I had added a review. All his VODs showed "No Comments", so I had to go through them one at a time until I found the right one (which actually had 2 reviews).
If the number of reviews is more significant than the number of views, then this problem should be looked at. It must be so easy for VS to fix, so I think we should now raise it in the Technical Support forum. Do you want to do that, or shall I?
I think it would be helpful to mention a few VODs where there are reviews, but where the thumbnail shows "No Comments". That will help VS to quickly see what is causing the problem. Quote

This is more than an "unfortunate situation", it's an error. I suggest contact VS directly by phone or email rather than raising it in the Technical Support Forum, giving specific examples of VODs in which the reviews are not correctly counted Quote

You can also get fairly skilled at skipping through the videos to see where they go and how they end and only burning a couple of credits doing it (at least on the 6cpm ones). When you find ones you like, you can back up and watch the entire video.

Some signs that VS are already working on it. The model page I mentioned at post #8, which previously showed "No comments" for all VODs, just showed "1 comment" and "2 comments" in the right places.

...I have sent an email to C/S it contained several links to VOD's that I have done and commented on. The comment count shows zero on all of them. One even had two comments.
...No reply from C/S and nothing has been changed on the above mentioned VOD's.

It's the time of year when we start to get a non-itchy-trigger-finger to publish changes to production so hopefully the fix for this doesn't affect any core components of the site.

Phil - don't want to raise false hopes again, but I understand that VS have now fixed the problem where VODs show "No Comments" when they do actually have reviews.
Each performer's VOD collection has 2 views: sorted by popularity and sorted by date. I don't think the first view has ever shown the number of reviews correctly, but it does now. I have checked with the VOD pages of a number of performers. A definite improvement. Many thanks to VS for that.
You might want to confirm that the 9 VODs you mention now show the correct number of comments. Quote
