jeje well guys i wonder i know many many guys who loves when the model talk him as BB. but i know another who hate it they say im not bb im rashad , im jason im steve ( those names are fictitious ) :winkwink

so my question is , u like when any model call u BB or u hate it ?

Personally, I like "bb" - whether it is used by members or models. I think it is very friendly, and convenient.

Most of the names used on the site are made-up screen names anyway. Some are difficult to use, and some aren't conveniently shortened. What do you if you have a model called Prabhakar and a member called Homo_Erectus? :winkwink

Some models and members also know each other by their real names, and there can be problems about which names to use.

I know that some others have the opposite view. I remember one of Jake Trenton's excellent posts where he added "... and please don't call be bb"

I remember when I joined the site, and heard "bb" or "spb", I had to ask "what's that mean?" Although in the real world, I don't walk around saying "howse it going, baby"...hehe (it's just not me)I do use the bb acronym here on occasion. It's a judgement call. Really depends on the situation.

BB doesnt bother me. A lot of the rooms i visit call me that because they don't like using DeafTN because it calls attention to the fact i'm deaf. i usually just tell them to call me Triton

I will call a member by any name they wish. The BB is not my first choice and I will not use it on my own, but if that is a personal preference, then so be it.

I don't mind it when it is used in reference to me, but I will then tell the members and guests what my preference is. You may call me Jonathan, Johny, John, JP, or simply Papi.... but calling me Papi usually gets me to take off clothes for some reason.

The double meaning of BB for gay guys is also a point of confusion (sometimes in an entertaining way) for new models.

I used to not be fond of it until this hot guy at pride selling necklaces in the crowd said "thanks babe" to me. Now I don't mind it at all.

I don't like to enter a room for the very first time and be called "bb". It reminds me of television and movie street walkers, "Hey, bb I show you good time."
However, after much time and getting to know a model if they begin to use "bb" it seems more like term of endearment and no different than any other abbreviation.

Agree that members and models shouldn't start off by using "bb", Asti.

I always use the model's name when I first enter a room, and when I thank them for a Group Chat or pvt show. In between, I will sometimes add "bb" as a term of endearment rather than just make blunt statements like "yes", "no" or "sorry".

If several members are talking to a model at the same time, the model will need to add the member's name to his replies to make clear who he is speaking to. So "bb" is often not an option.

Some models seem to type the name each time (as I have been accidentally called "runnie" and "roonie" and other names). Others can presumably just click on my name to select it, as I see a succession of messages ending with "ronnie-uk". I think "bb" is nicer and less formal, which is why I am quite happy with it as an alternative

Let me add I don't ever use bb or babe. There are members who use them enough for those who don't. I find other words/ways to convey endearment.
