Male Performer Chat: Ashton Buck
It was called to my attention that I was putting this post in a VIP section only which i didn't realize. I will duplicate the thread here with some of the answers. I would appreciate knowing if I am the only one that feels like Ashton got a raw deal getting in trouble.
Just thought someone needed to say that it is sad that a model like Ashton who cares more about his fans than himself tries to run a promo to say thank you to his fans and gets slapped on the wrist to the point that he may not come back on anymore. Its really sad that the only thing it seems works is for models to be out for themselves. cause Ashton is there for us and for one I appreciate him a lot!!!!! I feel sorry for his studio and flirt if they think that he was trying to do anything wrong!
all he did was offer to give a gift certificate to the number one fan of the day and offer to do a free show as a lottery drawing for fans giving tips during his time on that day. doesnt seem like a bad thing to me. but now he is so pissed off that we might not see him again
No it doesn't when banks and loans are being offered by other models.

Yes, bax248, I miss him alot. He is ONE in a MILLION!!! It is very sad that they would do something like this to someone that is so popular. He was only trying to do something for US.

What is your definition of similar? I have never know Izzi to offer any kind of tangible prize or something outside of F4F which I believe would be against VS policy. He has given free party chat shows which his fans always tip anyway, and the bank of Izzi thing which involved F4f credits. Any exchange of outside contact information between models and site members, with the exception of phone numbers to be used only in private chat, is strictly forbidden. I don't know Ashton either (I'm sure he's a lovely man 
), but if what he was doing involved sending a gift without F4F as a proxy, then it was against the rules. This is one of the most basic, prominent, and clearly worded rules for models.

I have been in Ashton's room and he is a very nice guy. I am sure he was only trying to drum up business in his room, but as Lionel said, it is a outside the rules. I hope really he comes back. PJ said everything I wanted to about the comparison to other models.
I am a proponent of the site expanding their wishlist and perhaps establishing a venue where performers can sell personalized gifts to their customers. Molded dildos, T-shirts, music cds, art, etc... This site has an amazing group of very talented people, and they should be allowed to express themselves as much as possible. I think this would make them even sexier, and really make this site's models stand out as real people. It would greatly expand the idea of the site as a community as opposed to just a porn site. It would also bind the performers to this site giving it a competitive advantage. My

Couldn't have said it better PJ. Izzi has NEVER offered any type of gifts other than the free party chats.

I understand rules are rules, but I miss Ashton a lot. Ashton never asked me for any personal information, nor did he ever ask me to do anything outside the F4F guidelines.
It is my hope that he returns, but I'm doubtful, he was very hurt by what happened. Quote

I think I was the last to go private before he left that night, he was really upset at what happened. Will take him awhile to get over this but my gut says he will be back before long. If more Ashton supporters, and Ashton himself, had used the forums they might have seen the major problems caused by Chris Hunt's attempt to win a contest by making special offers to those who gave him credits.
I don't want to see any performer get into trouble. That is why I launched the General Discussions (VIP) forum topic - link as in post #1 here. I also suggested in another topic that this issue should be aired in the Studio and Performers forum. Performers can always learn from the experiences of others.
