I think you are quite right to point this out, Todd, and of course Cupidonn has now made it a definite 2 votes for YES.
It looked very much to me (and Phil) as if Jayson and Juan's vote was not a serious vote, and you will see that I have asked them to confirm it. If they do, then that will make 3 votes for YES and I will include it in my next summary.
I loved your previous comment. It was fun to think that models (and other users) would not use the large emoticons when I was around. I visited a model for the first time yesterday and he said: "You don't like these, do you?" and then put a large emoticon on the screen. Naughty boy
Although I have started these votes, I haven't actually voted myself or given reasons for voting either way. I have tried to be as fair as possible.
ronnie.. if you are still attending to this thread you've started, seems like entire moments ago, i count something on the order of 5 yes votes now... and no mention of my abstention.. but please.. fairness? in a thread? isn't that like 'democracy' in a commercial environment? pfffttt.. you equivocate with every positive vote yet doubt not a single negative.. even though one of your 'negatives' admitted to using the animated orgasmic male emote at least 100 times a chat session (okay okay.. i overindulge in reporting some numbers.. sue me.. i'm blonde). Anyway.. back to my more important comment in one of the multiple threads you've posted regarding this topic...
THat BALLOON you are using as your chat icon.. WHERE can i get those? A girls fieldhockey team I'm avidly a fan of needs about 500 of those for the crowd at an upcoming game!!!! Quote

Love it, op.roo. Yes, there has been a bit of surge in the YES vote since my last summary and I probably was a bit naughty challenging one of the YES votes without challenging any of the NO votes. All will be put right in the next update, which I will do sooner rather than later if the YES lobby want me to.
Your figures suggest that I should treat Jayson and Juan's vote as 2 votes. Will do. Hadn't intended to do that but it will be OK if I apply the same rule to all votes (YES or NO).
I thought SIVIASI's contribution in the straight Forum was great fun, as you did. You will be relieved to know that I haven't treated his "DuRr" as a YES or a NO.
Anyway.. back to my more important comment in one of the multiple threads you've posted regarding this topic...

Nice of you to comment on my little home-made effort. Not a balloon, so my efforts were obviously not very good. You are right to think of a sporting connection. A little sporting event which takes place in June not far from here. Quote

After 1 week the latest result of the vote in both forums is:
YES: 15.2% (5 people voted for the large emoticons to be kept)
NO: 84.8% (28 people voted for the large emoticons to be removed)
If you haven't voted, please do so (YES or NO). It would be good to see more models voting - particularly those who do Party Chat. If enough people vote it is likely that VS will make improvements to the Flirt4Free site. Adding or removing emoticons is an easy change for them to make.

After 10 days the latest result of the vote in both forums is:
YES: 13.5% (5 people voted for the large emoticons to be kept)
NO: 86.5% (32 people voted for the large emoticons to be removed)
If you haven't voted, please do so (YES or NO). It would be good to see more models voting - particularly those who do Party Chat.
It is possible that VS will make changes if they are requested by enough Flirt4Free users and models.
NOTES:
1. The vote is about the large emoticons with their present size.
2. There may be other opportunities to comment on smaller versions of the large emoticons, and increasing the number of small emoticons in chat and in the forums.

The VS team had an urgent meeting to consider this topic, in view of all the votes and comments received.
The good news: VS have stated that they will make changes so that users and models who don't want to use or see the large emoticons will be able to turn them off. This will not affect the use of the small emoticons. It is hoped that the setting for the large emoticons will then be saved as the default setting.
The bad news: the changes cannot be made for a while. This is due to existing commitments and staff availability in the VS development team.
Thanks to VS for their response, and thanks once again to all those who voted and commented on this topic. Quote
