16 -- handle the whisperfunction responsible and with care
I know that I might poke into a hornets nest here. The VIP-status comes with certain priveleges and rightly so (Im not a VIP just so you know), among them the possibility to "whisper", i.e. - for those who dont know what that is - to make statements in the chatroom which only the model can see. No problem for me so far; if I would want that bad enough Id get upgraded to VIP.
What I find somehow annoying, though, is when you enter a room or even worse you already in chatt and then you realize by the models responses (written that is) that there is a whole conversation in whispermode going on
Am I too squemish here? Looking forward to get some oppinions about that.

Yes - the whispering topic is a bit of a hornets nest, bisport.
I have never seen so many posts about a single issue. From memory there were about 150 when it was first raised in the General Discussions forum and another 300 when changes were announced in the News and Announcements forum. People were talking about quitting the site in protest. Many of us are pleased that all the fuss has died down.
However, I agree with your addition to Suggs' list. I avoid using the whisper function as far as possible, out of consideration to others. (I think I have just used it twice since it was reintroduced). Also, your post helps to give a bump to Suggs' excellent topic
If we are suggesting additions to the list I would add:
17 -- If you are not tipping then don't use the LETS TIP emoticon
18 -- Don't spoil the chat by using the large emoticons Quote

Totally agree, Homo erectus! Just got out of a room from a newbie and its really kinda annoying.
I wonder whats the big deal to scroll down a bit and check the basic bio-data.

So I guess my etiquette addition would be to be accepting of new members or people new to the room who are not rude and do not disrupt the chat already in progress.
My other addition would be: If you're in the room of a model(particularly a new one) who doesn't have a lot of experience with English, try not to use slang or abbreviations and check your spelling/typing. If he is getting help from a translator program, it won't be able to handle those things and it will end up being very frustrating. Simple sentence structure too (unlike what I just wrote here ) Quote

So true, wonderboi
I've mentioned this to several models, and told them that I love their big cock but I don't think they should advertise that it is only 4 inches ...
I mentioned to one gay model that his bio page said he was bi, and he said: "Am I? I didn't know that"
As for location, a number of models do say in their bio "Ask me"

I was thinking that a couple of the points from deafTN's current "so annoyed" topic could be added to Suggs' original list. I see that imacumluvr was thinking on the same lines (at post #18).
Amanda recently reposted the original list, but it is open to anyone here to repost a (slightly) expanded version for the Male Performer forum. The responses here confirm that it is one of the more useful forum topics Quote

Amanda - you and your imaginary committees....
This is a forum. We discuss things.
We might (very occasionally) look at a Youtube video too

Etiquette, this isn't the winners enclosure at Ascot, more of the wyno's corner swimming in super strength lager. So the word is 'Standard' and we have harmonized European Standards for everything so I found the one that applies; ISO: M00R 0N 1, far short of our old British Standards which had bite and could giv'em the old what-for in banning a toy stuffed with glass that would blind baby on contact but better than just well don't they know what stupid hat to wear! ....Toodle-Pip I must not be late for cream .... tea. Basic unofficial chat guidelines created by customers / models
01 -- No repetitive begging
02 -- Caps off please
03 -- No promoting of a different site
04 -- No promoting another model off the site
05 -- Only talk about another model if mentioned by performer 1st
06 -- The most important person in a room is the performer
07 -- No means NO - not Maybe
08 -- For the most part English is primary language used in rooms.
09 -- Speak to the performers how you like to be spoken to.
10 -- Show the models respect.
11 -- No fighting of you don't agree with someones views on stuff.
12 -- If you want to get off to a model - do it in PVT !
13 -- All of the above rules are for when a performer is in open AND private.
14 -- If you cant afford pvt - say so!!
15 -- Read the performers bio.
Any more ideas will be added in time

There is nothing wrong with using caps to emphasize a word or phrase, but some people want to type everything in caps, and that is bad

Don't post that here! Now The Committee know you broke the code, you must respect the code.
They going to want 3 things from you, they always collect 3 things by your will or not. They will be watching you, beware of fez wearing monkeys they be servants cloaked by shadow or desire. It is just a matter of time now, few can escape The Committee once they know your name.
Good luck wherever you 'choose' to go, it will be the choice of The Committee, online or not they gotcha! Quote
