another thing that annoys me is when a member begs a model to start a party chat and when the party starts, they don't tip but put up the "let's tip" emoticon...that's when I say, you are the one who wanted the party, you should be the first to tip

Let's not restrict it. I have seen members ask for party chats. I have also seen members beg for group chats, but then they don't pledge. I've seen members ask models to lower their rates or switch from multi-user to private, then disappear and not return. I've seen members ask models (usually newer ones) to get hard or change clothes or something, promising a private afterward, only to vanish without a trace when the models do as requested.

Back on topic now...
Depending on the room I am in, I may be almost completely silent about those who request without tipping...usually the model is experienced and professional enough to handle these non-tipping members without difficulty. Sometimes I will, with the model's express (previously or then and there) permission, tell these non-tippers to tip with their requests. I also have no difficulty (well, maybe a little) being the evil one and coming down hard on non-tippers if I see them hassling and badgering less experienced performers who are unsure about how to handle non-tipping members.

It's a shame that Flirt4Free decided to make basic members (e-mail registration only) the same color as premium members (registration with credit card on file) on the members side. It would help the tippers to address the non-tippers more accurately ("register a credit card so you can get your free credits" versus "you know how things are done on the site, if you want something, tip"). Not that it's too difficult to pick out the basic members from the premium--always the same kind of comments--but premium members who request without tipping deserve more reproach than basic members who might not know better, having only seen how those stupid bots talk while they were guest users.

One thing to add. Like you, I am usually silent when non-tippers keep asking the performer to do things and keep asking everyone else to tip.

However, I do sometimes say: "I will tip again when you tip, xxxxxx".

It usually works. Sometimes member xxxxxx stops his incessant posts. Sometimes we get an apology or explanation of why xxxxxx doesn't have any credits. And sometimes member xxxxxx tips, and I then tip again. That is the best result

That seems like a good idea, ronnie-uk. Sadly, I cannot tip very often, being on a tight budget--the models I visit know this and are apparently okay with it because I do not make requests, and because I do tip or go into private when able.

With regards to the situation you describe, though, whether I have credits or not, I sometimes say to member xxxxx after they use that obnoxious "Let's Tip" emoticon (without tipping at all themselves), "start us off, xxxxx". That also tends to either shut them up or get an explanation...or an excuse.

One thing I really dislike, and which I've told off other members (probably basic members) for, is when I tip "just because" and someone else tries to use my tip to get a model to do something. I'll tell those other members to send their own tips (though perhaps not in such polite language). The tips I give are between me and the model, and if I don't ask for anything at all (or at most a smile), that's my business, and no one else should expect to take advantage of my gift to the model to satisfy their own desires and whims.

Lately it seems the forums have became a battleground between tippers and non tippers. I have kept quiet for a while but enough is enough. Why don't all of us members and models alike try something new. It's called showing a little respect. I am fortunate to be able to show my love and respect for a model by tipping but some of us are not so fortunate. We don't know the life circumstances of those non tippers. Maybe they took a hard knock from the economy or maybe their money is taken for medical expenses or hell maybe all they have is enough for groceries and life expenses. Let's not judge them but respect them. If the models don't want them in their room all they have to do is say so. If the other members are so irritated by them simply go to another room or maybe say hi get to know them. You may just find some wonderful people. It is not our place to judge so lets all be friendly and have a good time. after all the sites name is flirt4free. not flirt4tips or drama4free.

You are missing the point of the original post. It has nothing to do with wanting free shows or shows at lower rates. The member who started this thread was tired of seeing the arguments between those who tip and those who don't tip. Everything that came after addressed why those who tip become frustrated and angry at those who don't, and the circumstances that trigger those arguments.

deafTN, I would just like to clarify one point. It is true that members who tip become irritated with members who don't tip, and it is also true that we cannot truly know each others' financial circumstances. There are some who tip minimally but widely and often, some who regularly flood their favorites, and some who can only tip intermittently. Most members will understand that we cannot tip all the time and that there will be occasional dry spells when others cannot tip at all. Most experienced models will know and understand this also.

What truly gets tipping members--and often models--irritated is when perpetual non-tippers are always, always, ALWAYS making requests, followed by that large "Let's Tip" emoticon, yet they themselves NEVER tip...EVER. They expect the model to fulfill their requests, but also expect other members to bankroll them. They aren't there to build up support for the model or be cheerleaders...they're there for a free show. THIS is the kind of non-tipping member that tippers get angry at.

I witnessed in Henry Hard's room a VIP named Kyler is telling someone to tip the model because he tipped big it is a challenge for others to tip which made other members to tip also but someone did not and they started bullying him until the model banned that member I was new for a time that I thought tipping is a huge deal in some rooms I was waiting a right moment to get into chat but witnessing that is a pity for that user the more intimidating fact is it is not a party chat so I decided to just leave I figured after awhile that tipping is not necessary unless you have requests.

Tipping is not NECESSARY, but it is highly recommended when you make a request, as you are asking a model to do something for you that should be properly recompensed. And, of course, members tip to keep a party chat going. You can also tip when you feel like it, for whatever reason appeals to you (cute smile, great abs, beautiful eyes, etc.) or "just because."

However, no one should be obligated to tip just because another member issues a challenge, and no one should be bullied into tipping.
