today marks the third occassion that ive had a member come into my room and be completely negative about me due to my sexual orientation. first things first, just because you like men does not mean that everyone must like men as well. secondly if youre unhappy that i am straight, leave my room. no one is forcing you to stay. thirdly, i have a photographic memory, so if you plan to talk negatively to me in my room, then plan to get the cold shoulder next time you come in... thats all for now

For me as a customer, I dont look at orientation , if a guy says he gonna cum for me or such things like that and we go private i expect cum

... Rarely I ever drop by and chat and certainly not to insult !! I drop by just to visit say hi sometimes, just to see how sexy you guys are !!! love u guys it is a hard job i presume if you consider model/ performer and cam live sex a job as it is advertised ... you all deal with faceless peoples and multiple personality's !!

Yes, I agree with that as well. I have some of these dudes try to talk their trash, but I show them something. I will not tolerate any negative conduct in my room when I am giving customers the best time. I also thank my customer's for standing up for me because they dash on the person who is making bad remarks. That's why I get straight to the point and ban them for a month, not 24 hours. I'm getting to the point, but not trying to be strict, but that how I am gonna do. So if any of these customer's cross me, it's a wrap. I will negotiate on the 3 strike depends on my mood. I am on here giving my customer's satisfaction and will not put up any one's foolishness of whatsoever.

I cannot stand seeing a model mistreated for any reason. It's so rude...and Peter whether you're straight, bi, or gay in my opinion you're one of the most beautiful guys on this site and one of the most friendly. You have my utmost respect and always will

Unfortunately, jerks like that do not read these forums

Also unfortunately, it's easy for any member to come back to your room with a different screen name, so your photographic memory won't necessarily help you

The way to silence jerks who are bad-mouthing you is to ban them from your room. A ban is effective even in they change their screen name

Sir_Ken, please stop with the constant put-downs. ourjeffie directed you to a link that answers the question as you posed it, "why do they give you boost points". To quote from that link: "Our system sorts and ranks performers based on a number we call their Power Score. A model with a higher power score appears higher on the home page, the model list, etc." The boost points serve to give the model a higher power score to appear higher in the rankings on the home page, etc.

As to the other part of your question, you will need to ask a model about the different ways the power score increases (other than being boosted by members), but I do not think models get power score points just by having members in their rooms.

I know thats why i got confused when the model i quoted said he'll lose some powerboost if he ban someone.

The disrespectful members may not give them power boosts, but they will cost them boost points.

My understanding is that models get penalized if they ban too many members. Naturally, F4F would prefer that members spend credits in the chat rooms, which they cannot do if they are being routinely banned from said rooms. The loss of boost points--and therefore a loss of ranking on the front page--prevents models from banning excessive amounts of members. It is probably what prevents models from banning all the silent lurkers who simply sit and watch without tipping: the loss of so many boost points would send their ranks plummeting and drop them to the last page.

ourjeffie, I often wonder myself. I've given up trying to change his mind about anything, but I will at least do what I can to clarify his understanding so that if he has objections to models or members, they are founded in cold, hard facts and not ignorance and misunderstanding.
