I'm convinced to continue to blend in and share my gender with only a few trusted straight or declared bi performers. I think my initial experience of negative responses to a straight female being in the room were typical, and I don't want to cause problems to performers I care about. i will answer you with this. as a straight male on this site i have come to grips with the reality that 99% of clientele on the males side are men. therefore, it is very unlikely that all 500 random names that pop up (most basic) are actual females, and not males that ddid their reesearch and read your profile to see that you are straight. i think most think you will do a free show for them in the open room if they make you believe they are the gender you're attracted to. while not true, you gotta give them an A for effort. i know your question was geared more towards the gay men, but at the same time the confusion may stem from the fact that it is online, and we dont see you in the open room. 9 times out of 10 its fantasy being said and not fact. welcome to the internet ;)

The cases I admitted to my gender right away were few. Most likely, I visit someone for months to make sure that the chemistry is right and some trust has built up.
After I told my first favorite on here, I had some encouragement to be more open about myself and I visited a couple of rooms declaring in the first conversation with performers (to them, not to the room), I was a woman.

Happened that I visited you in that phase, too. I know from that day very well your opinion since we discussed a while on this matter.
I accept that it is hard to trust someone on here. I hope you understand that I don't visit this site to try to convince people about who I am but look for those who can accept me no matter what I tell them about myself. Thanks to c2c, this distrust can be balanced out, but when it is there from the first moment ... it just sucks.

With this in mind, I found that I made my best experiences with bi-sexual men, because they seem more open to any type of visitors.

The vast majority of members(and, from what I have been told, models) don't even read the Male Performer Chat forum. So pls allow me to advise you to not generalize from any kind and accepting words you have read here. There are some sweet guys who write on this forum but there are probably a lot of members who may not be as cool with a str8 women in a chat room. So continue your practice of being very selective in revealing your sexuality to other members. Just my :twocents

BurningDesire4U first of all thanks for the posting.
I sort of think most members on the site don't have a problem with a woman being in the chat room. However if the performer ignores other members in the room over that woman then there could be a problem. Not with you, but the fact that the performer is not being a good host.
Yes there are a few things that are said in chat rooms that could make one feel uncomfortable, but heck you just move on and ignore them.
Most are here to have a good time and some fun, but not at the expense of others.

Very Odd to hear this and never hear this before but i have only working cam for a year. I would say its a job and give the person what they want, they are paying for it. For me i just try to give that best show i can to everyone but dam it i was doing a show with a female and they turned on the came i would probably enjoy it as much as them

Somehow I read your remarks to be in reference to a performer enjoying a c2c because he or she finds the member attractive. Are you sure they are women or fake women.? As I have seen in other site the use feminine nicks to make the male models arouse and show their tools for free. I believe that issue is here. I don't think women visit a GAY Site. When the model asks for PRIVATE C2C they always refused and get the excuse , MY CAMERA DOESNT WORK. This is very suspicious to me.

However, I am concerned about the opposite situation.
I don't tell anyone in chat (performers only privately and after some time of aquaintance) that I am a woman and I refuse c2c with male performers who don't know ... they would get quite an unpleasant surprise.
My current #1 favorite is gay and he has no problem with me being in his room, only that he asks me to not tell anyone else in the room.
We had c2c only once to chat and get to know each other, because it is important to me that performers I visit for a longer time feel comfortable with me and constantly lying to them would make ME feel uncomfortable.

It is members who don't know, my "best flirt friends" think I am a bottom gay AND THAT is what gets at me at times and makes me sad.

I have been visiting this site for quite some time now.
Still I find it difficult to talk to a new performer because I never know what reaction I get when I am upfront saying I am a str8 woman.
Both str8 and gay men have been pretty nasty about that in the past, only few are cool with it and lots change their attitude in private once they know - which I find most regrettable.

Performers who have become important to me in the past know about this, but even they prefer me to not be "openly female" in their rooms in order to not disturb other members.
