male, definitely i have no idea what exactly you meant by "encourage", but here just my humble opinion:

didnt want fall in to long discussion, but : good conversations always welcomed instead "encourage" to help a good guy? there a room host, who know how to rule his place, from my sexpirience, all these "encouragers" most of the time sound like performer hired "encourager" or being sexretary and pushing/ begging other visitors to tip or boost or whatever, its not really cool, many visitors just leave in search to rooms where they can chat and dont hear now and then "pvt bb", "tip me bb" and so on. Especially super freak lame it to hear "encourage" from visitor who didn't tip/private/boost/vote/whatever in front all of them even small amount.
still about boost points, these never been like something special, it always been Game Points, it was stated like that from day 1st of release, so if you game, come on over.

The fact that the site has put restrictions on how one can earn boost points and that they are now only limited to 2 days, one just has to wonder why they did not just dump the entire thing. I was not aware that one could use boost points to view a VOD which sounds out of character with the purpose of boost points.
Have to say they were fun to earn, and like I said never considered using them to get a performer to do something in return. It was sort of fun to see a smile on the face of a performer, and more of a thank you than anything else.
Sort of think as with most things on the site it got abused by some members, and it impacted on the performers. Personally never cared where a performer was in the model lineup, but rather that they turned out to be interesting & fun people.
Well that is the FISHY comment for the day ..ENJOY...

Yes, example a 50 credit 24 hour VOD is 5000 boost points (or reward points if you want)

While I get that many members on the site might be glad to see the back of the boost point have to say it was fun tp have them a round. More of a splash to see the colour pop up on the screen. Never considered them to be used for a request that the performer was expected to do anything (though think some members might have expected something in return).
Sadly with all of the changes going on on the site the fun has sort of gone and the quiet rooms seem to growing.
Well that is the fishy thought for the day.

Rather than close the site overhaul the present management. They seem to be out of tune with members and flood the site with performers whose only interest is $$$, and offer nothing in return. No wonder the chat rooms tend to be quiet. Seems sometimes if you talk you get pounced upon like a mouse caught in a trap.

There is the opposite view, which has also been expressed many times here. Flirt4Free is a commercial site which costs a lot to run. Members can only chat for free as long as other members continue to pay.

On the question of boost points being useful to performers for only 2 days, I am surprised that no-one has taken this up in those forums where F4F management takes note and responds.

We can't expect management to make improvements if 99% of members never say anything... :winkwink

Well said there Ronnie, but have to say the site tends to offer stuff which is basically of no cost to them, and then back tracks, and flies off to another area. Be the points good or bad sort of think they should have left them as they were. Though limiting them to two day should be OK. They might move the performer up the list, but think by now many members already have a select group of performers that they wish to visit.
Basically boost point give some members an incentive to hang out in chat room & yes talk, post reviews, and message performers.
Another interesting thread posting.

Good point Ronnie and one many seem to forget. The site needs to focus more on what motivates members to buy/spend credits so they can attract the best performers knowing they can earn a decent income. That's what really makes this site go, not boost points.

And finally the silent viewers are going to be gone. I always say hi to everyone and it's very annoying have someone that don't say even a hi and keep in the room forever without say nothing.
Yeah isn't it a bit unnerving when you give a simple "hello" to a visitor, whether paid or unpaid, and they don't have the courtesy to at least say "hi" back...they sit, and lurk, and lurk....

Guys , customers were camping in the rooms to get the boost points . I had and still have some who camp in my room for hours , even though they have a high level , they are not my customers .
They spend their credits with other models and camp in my room in order to get boost points and raise their customer level in order to get some discounts . I consider that pretty annoying , i don t want people to use me that way . I banned a couple of them after a while .

However , people who talk a lot in rooms and they say " entartain / welcome" the model and spend very rarely are also annoying . Most people who come here are shy , these guys are scrolling the room and just scare the real potential customers . They start suggesting things , they become demanding in time , just because u accepted them there even though they spend very very rarely and talk a lot , they start to think they have some rights in that room and sometimes even over other customers .

On the long term , guys who spend very rarely , share their few credits with 10 models and talk a lot , they don t do any good .

We , as performers need to maintain a good morale for the length of our shifts , the be able to smile and welcome our potential customers . When someone talks a lot , when he is hunting for every discount , every trick , every free peak , level advantages and every other stuff and he is always there in your room , your morale as a performer goes low . They are so resilient and so able to hold back and keep themselves from spending that they just make us feel weak .

Guys , we want you to be weak on our charm , we want you to break the bank once in a while , just for us ... just because we are irresistible , because we play games , because we are great companions every single night . At some point , we are waiting for that moment and when u feel that never comes and u are stuck with a few of these every night in your room you can already see yourself bankrupt .

Yes it s a very good thing that they eliminate the power boost importance . We don t earn from that and we really don t care about it , it s the truth . Most of the people act like we owe them something after they boost . Well , it s a strange feeling . You don t want to tell him that he just did "nothing" for you , and the situation becomes awkward .

Kyler I understand where you are coming from and the frustration that many performers on the site have to deal with, but the change in the boost point will not change things. Many viewer will still just lurk and not talk. There will always be viewers making requests for some free action.
Never considered boost point to be a requirement to request any performer to do anything, and as for moving them up the model list heck members can sort the list is any which way they might like in any case. Most members have a select few of special performers already.
Earning those boost point sort of gave some of us the incentive to post reviews and spread the word about some performers who were dang cool.
While the reviews might continue there is something of a spark gone out of the site. Yes I know for many performers this is a financial venture, but it is not better to have members in the room actually talking which will surely make the time you spend on the site more enjoyable. Privates and tips will always happen.
Well thank you for that very intense posting and I respect your point of view.
