Party chats...ugh. It seems like 90% of the members on this site just hop party to party with no intent to ever tip or take someone private. As a host I've learned that party chats are a last resort after a long shift of no privates, only out of desperation to not leave empty handed. I can count on one hand how many party sessions I've done this year, none of them were ever worth it. In my honest opinion it's best to just be patient and wait for a nice member to take you private. Besides, giving away the goods for free in party mode only cheapens your product. :twocents

Coreymoore with some of the stuff that is going on in open chat one has to wonder what is party chat all about. Fact is it is up to the performer to consider what to do in party chat not any viewers in the room

Not all models can be successful with party and group shows, stick to privates if that is what works for you. If you really want to do the party and and groups then find out what will draw the crowds.

As a member I enjoy a good party or group show, unfortunately most are the same show in each room.

Twixel you are sort of correct in what you say. However there are two benefits to party chat that many might not think about....
[1] it draws viewers to the room and with any luck some might be worth having in the chat room.
[2] it gives viewers an idea as to just how many viewers are in the room and face it the numbers can be shocking when it is clear probably 90% never say a word ...not even a hello.

Again the performer controls what he or she wishes to do in party. It is not a case of quick get naded

Some models' primary credit income comes from parties with privates as secondary, and some have privates as primary with parties/groups as secondary, which is was what makes the varying options beneficial to models. Realizing this months ago made it glaringly obvious that there is a FOTY category missing. Where is the most hours in private category?? We have party, group, and hours online, but what about those models that foster numerous intimate relationships that gain them hours in private? How is that not a category??

I think the message is clear that each model needs to just experiment and figure out what works for them and what doesn't. But they do need to understand how to communicate and relate with their viewers if they wish to succeed. On what Z mentions on hours above, there may not be a FOTY category but the Lifetime Achievement category is where hours in private is honored, think it's 1,000 hours of private time to be included. Some great, great models past and present in that category.

When I looked at the website structure, I figured there was a natural structure.
Free Flirting leads to Party Chats lead to Group Shows lead to Privates lead to Fan Club Memberships.
At each point, you'd expect fewer people participating but a slightly higher level of reward for each.
There are more viewers than tippers than committed tippers than big spenders than true fans.
The job of the model is to filter people through these points of sale.

Reality probably won't match this exact flow precisely. Some models might experience peak participation in privates or in Fan Clubs. Nonetheless it's important to realize that maximizing participation at each level is the goal and that the website was set up to encourage a gradual progression of participation by its members.

Maybe what you have iterated is the progression the site is aiming for. Maybe it's not. The reality is that models find success where they find it, and they don't need to be "maximizing participation at each level"...only in the format they do best in. I know of some top models who do a lot of private shows, and rarely--if ever--do group shows or party chats, and other top models who have a lot of party chats and few (if any) private shows. There are also some who earn a great deal just from tips in open chat, just talking with members.

Well hello there perfessir, welcome to the forums.

I didn't know members could see a tally of how many credits we were earning in party mode, interesting. Will have to look into that. I would love to do hardcore party shows with a gazillion viewers and buttload of small tippers (which I've done before) every time I sign on but it doesn't compare to the haul from a decent private. It's the freeloaders taking advantage of the party mode with no intention of ever tipping, going private, or even joining the site that is frustrating. There is just something about doing something for free, then trying to sell it afterwards that doesn't seem very productive.

The problem is once most members realize a model does party chats they wait for those. Why pay a crapload on a private 1on1 when you can watch a party for free? I've seen guests (grays) ask when the next party is - they don't even have to register and they know they'll get a free show. Very, very discouraging. I emailed f4f and suggested that maybe only members with credits could access party chats to help avoid all the freeloaders - their response was it helps bring in new customers. Granted there are hardcore members that enjoy tipping, doing privates, and participating on these forums like some of you... But let's face it, the average member on this site signs on cock-in-hand looking for the cheapest and quickest way to a good fap.

Corey I agree with a lot of what you wrote. Grays shouldn't be allowed in party chats, was a terrible decision by the site years ago to allow it. So many changes have taken place so this site could compete with all the new competitors it took away what everyone is saying they'd like to see today. Suppose its the new normal as there is no going back so we just need to roll with it.

Just for some perspective, when I first started coming here about 10 years ago it was a private only site. If you wanted a show the only way was to take the model private. Once in private the curtain would open for a few seconds every few minutes showing what was taking place, this was how viewers were enticed into privates and a way to get new members to sign up. There were no party or group chats either, but there were still lots of silent members in popular models rooms and they started getting free shows once party chats came about. There has always been freeloaders of all types on this site and I don't see a way fixing that going forward.

I think you misunderstood when I said "Maximizing participation at each level."
Obviously, some models will perform better in Party Chats and others in Privates and others still in Fan Clubs. The models' job is to try to garner the most credits.

For instance, Corey (who I love infinitely) is running into a frustration that I think is due to a sort of misunderstanding. Instead of being frustrated by grey users who don't understand how the site works, he should engage with them to cultivate them into real members. This is basic flirting.
The low level members should be engaged so that they tip or have small donations; party chats and Groups Shows.
The higher level members should be encouraged into Privates and Fan Clubs.

He just said he'd love it if he had a bunch of people tipping in a giant group show. Perhaps he should learn how to create a really great Fan Club.
Perhaps he'll be great at converting greys into user who join specifically for his Fan Club. (which if he did some monthly Red Line show for Fan Club ONLY members, I'd join that Fan Club in a heartbeat.)

That's maximizing participation at every level. It's just an understanding of the dynamics within the website and how to use the website strategically to maximize your own personal credits.

Corey it is encouraging to learn performers such as yourself are contacting the site and suggesting changes. It is equally discouraging to read the site's response. I'm sure free party viewing brings in some new members but Party chat didn't exist when I joined the site. Tipping didn't exist either, so freeloaders couldn't benefit from others tipping. The only freebie was there used to be a curtain graphic that would close over the performer's window when they were taken private and every 30 seconds or maybe every 60 it would slide open for a few seconds glimpse. This was to encourage voyeur or multi-users to join the show.

Back to free party viewing = new members, probably true but very disproportionate. It only brings to mind, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?" (Or bull as the case may be) :winkwink

Grey users are kicked out of party within 2 minutes and they can't just jump right back in. If the grey user is going to jump around and maneuver the system for free party then they will never be a tipping client anyhow but there are some where that 2 minutes will draw them in.

Besides, there are plenty of free shows in open chat they can go watch as well.
