I know this might not be in keeping with the subject.When a model whispers to you is there a way to whisper back?
aaawwww ... of course, sweety, that's the whole discussion ... when a room seems awfully silent, it's because everybody whispers. Some prefer that, others don't like it etc.
You can find this in the Tech/Support forum somewhere, but what the ***
You have to put a "/" (slash) in front of your message each time you want to "whisper" something.

I'm all for good conversation. If one happens in the open room I'm in at the time, great. I may partake but that is not my objective.

I also sent the model a tip with a note and he got backat me right away
with an explanation. 
( he is afraidof the vitriolic complains of those "important" members that hold him hostage
during his broadcast)...
he can't just stop them or they'll complainto management...
he even try to go off for a few minutesbut they are always waiting for him...

more members who think they own a performer. I don't understand why he cannot speak to you amidst these lame conversations. These other members certainly don't complain about that, or do they? That annoys me. I have visited performers who complain about other members holding them captive with the threat of spending their credits elsewhere. Some I believed a few others were players. I have become much more casual in my habits here because of the latter. Anyway, hoping your situation resolves

That is a great quality for a cam model to have....knowing when to ignore people and when to give full attention. I think this definitely depends on their level of success. A top model can ignore the "All my credits are yours if you just..." comments, and even the requests for flashes, stand up, sit down, turn around, etc. etc. You can afford to be an in-private-only or when-I-feel-like-it model when you don't depend on every tip to get by. I find this type of room a lot more comfortable to be in, and maybe surprisingly, more respectful. Members realize they can't bark demands when the models ignores strangers that only talk without tips (to an extent, of course).

I just visited another 5 starsmodel with the same problem!!( I was told via whisper...)....3 of the
visitors are the same ones I saw before in other rooms...
all of them have a "Life Time Status" of 700 and up to 1.020 points so they obviously do
spend money but they use the points as leverage to "own" any model the
visit ( always in a group of 3 to 7 of them).
I think I'll also make myself scarce because there are manythings that are NOT working for me ( and many of my close friends...

Believe it or not LIKETHEMHUNG8+ some models get
paid to be watched while sleeping!!
Years ago there used to be a well known member (we called him Morpheus) that
paid models up to 12 hours privates to watch the sleep!!
It is another crazy kink (strange but real fetish )
Although there are a few that are just plain tired and sleep
during the studios time....

Interesting perspective Chris.
I did not consider that and perhaps for the "barbers" it is. Though, on a site like F4F every direction given in private then could be boiled down to a control issue. I 'm not saying they are but that point could be made. Back to my original comment, I wasn't so much asking for an explanation but more, "hey here's a different fetish." I do believe personal fetishes just are. One's may be strange to another but it is what it is. Again thank you for your hypothesis.

Just left the room of a very handsome "new" model. After the polite mandatory "hellos" and "hi how are yous" I didn't
received any answers from the model typing away furiously and switching
between the keyboard and phone
Suddenly a sign showed up on my screen "RESPECT THE MODEL:TIP!" "IF YOU LOVE THE MODEL :TIP!"
