Phil - I didn't see your last post (Aug 20) as I was away at the time.
I felt that I wanted to make comments about a member called dallasbb, whose "reviews" tend to be meaningless comments like "sexy" or "nice show". He also keeps repeating the same reviews day after day. I was interested to see that your last post was about the same member.
The VOD you mentioned is one example:

More recently I have seen him post reviews with more than 1 or 2 words, but these have just been copied from other members' reviews. For example:

This cannot be right, and we can wonder why he does it. The answer seems to be that VS are rewarding dallasbb for these pathetic reviews by giving him Flirt Game points. I see that he now appears as the Top Reviewer on the site:

In my view that is outrageous. I don't know what others think.

The Top Reviewer portion of the Flirt game refers to reviews left on a model's bio page.
The part you should actually be referencing when complaining is the VOD comments section. There are no stats listed as to who the top VOD commentators are nor does it matter.

I'm not sure that is right, paperpunch.
Points are certainly awarded for VOD reviews, as well as performer reviews, and I'm pretty sure they are added together on the "top reviewers" page. The other relevant page is:

I think paperpunch is right
Certainly you get points for VOD reviews/comments as well as performer reviews, however I believe the Top Reviewers page lists points accumulated for performer reviews only, as it specifically states on that page "Each review that is approved and posted ON A MODEL'S BIO [my caps] earns five game points for the customer who wrote the review". It doesn't metnion VOD reviews/comments on that page

Thx Jeffie - I can see why there is some confusion.
I would also quote the opening words on the Top Reviewers page:
"Reviewing a performer's paid shows or just their general personality is a huge help"
I can't see why VS would say that, and then produce a list solely on the general personality aspect.
More convincing to me is the fact that dallasbb will not have contributed 5,400 "personality" reviews on the performers' bio pages. I have seen very few. However, from what I've seen I can believe that he has contributed that number of VOD reviews (although I hesitate to use the word).
We might need to ask VS to settle the point

I took that to mean you can submit a model review without having taken the model private. In this case you are reviewing the model's open room performance and personality rather than reviewing how they have performed in a private show

I have done "many" reviews . It helps the model's power score .
I done most based on the "host" personaality and/or room .
Models take time to interact . Tips , reviews , gifts , and power boosts show consideration you appreciated that visit
Some in the past "copy and paste" same review . It may appeared hundreds of times .
"The Flirt Game" sometimes has members scrable a way to make points to power boost thier favorite or favorite models .
This site often allows duplicates and even 1 or 2 word reviews for BOTH model performance and video reviews .
Hopefully some members will try to be more informative and more unique approach for thier reviews

I have just added the following post in the General Discussions topic "What Constitutes a VOD Review":
The page where we add VOD Comments simply says "Review this Recording". The box where we provide commments simply says "Comments". It doesn't actually state "What constitutes a VOD Review?"
The words "OK", "hot", "sexy" are all comments. Those members who provide these comments are not therefore doing anything wrong. In fact they are encouraged by VS, because they get 5 points for each of these comments.
Suggestion: VS could add a sentence or two on the VOD Comments page to say what type of comments they would like to see there.
That may not change things overnight, but it provides a starting point. It also provides a firmer basis for VS to take action against any member who abuses the system.
Just trying to be helpful. All views welcome.

I like to be an informed customer.. if I'm shopping around for something, I use Amazon and sites like it to read product reviews. If I'm shopping around for someONE, say at a dating site, I want as much info as possible and won't usually email if all they have up is a photo.
I always say how much I appreciate a good review on my bio page... being new, I feel like they help me, and so if a guy enjoys my company I like him to say so. I also show my appreciation same as for a tip.

I have found lately that F4F and VS want to portray an image even if it is a fake one. They have model favorites and user favorites, that is why I no longer will spend money on this site. Not all are equal. But I do reviews and have noticed lately, that my reviews are not being posted. So unless you give a model 3 stars and up. don't count on seeing your review. So sad.

Up to about a year ago only good reviews were accepted by VS. However, people complained about that. In the last year I have seen lots of bad (even unfair) reviews as well as good ones being accepted. I think that is still the case.

...Yes, there are still bad reviews being posted. What occurs is that members are more likely to post a good review after a pleasant experience. Many, many more models are good and will leave the members with a good experience, thus there are many more good reviews being written and deservedly so.
