I thought there would be a model's handbook, but there is no member's handbook that I have ever seen. Adam's excellent contribution does a lot to fill the gap, and can be read by members and models alike so that we can all think on the same lines.

I have been directing members to this exact forum posting during some conversations that have taken place in my free chat. This has proven to be a great resource to have on hand when in my room, and I encourage other models to use this as a tool if they are comfortable with that.

That was a good post but not just the "Top" models are good. You make it seem like only the top-20 models will give a positive experience. I've been a member for 4 yrs and sadly some very good models NEVER make it to be a "top-20 models", and it's not because they are bad models but because of their ethnic background, and the lack of customers visiting and taking them pvt. There have been some beautiful models who have been nice guys and have given all of "your qualifications*",
In reference to #5, you are right about "guys" asking you to show cock in open room is right, but some models do show and get tips. But in "Party chat" I give tips to models who show cock or use dildos, but some models who go to "Party chat" and do the exact same thing as regular chat (just sit there, and/or say "tip") expect guys to tip but some still don't show anything! Some are new, but some have been here over a year.
In reference to #8, sometimes (if or when) guys are talking to each other (about other models, not) especially while the model was in pvt. , or if the model is talking to other customers (VIP Gold) and not them, or the model speaks a different language are some of the reasons why they talk to each other. Any other reason, or if the model is talking about another model is not cool, but I've seen models talk to each other. I've also never heard any customer ask a model to give them a name for another model. especially of opposite sex, that's a new one to me!!
In reference to #10 & 17, Now they only let VIP guys whisper to models. It used to be that everyone could whisper but some models and customers were only talking that way, and other customers were not talked to as much, or at all. They then changed it to only customers could whisper to models, but now only Vip can do it. Therefore we have to ask questions in your room, especially if it's not written on your "Bio" (or if in room and guys have not looked at the bio).
***I AM REALLY HAPPY about your list, BUT it's really sad that after (6-8 yrs or more*), it took a newer model (only here 2yrs) to tell new customers and models how to act in rooms. By the way, there are 2-4 models* who have been here for 4-8 yrs (2004*), and who are(were) Top 20 and Hall of Fame Models, and even Management who never took the time to, and didn't write this list, so be extremely proud of yourself!! And I also think that F4F should at least compensate you, for the time you took to do it, or give you something to show you appreciation (for giving a guide (suggestion) on "proper chatting").

You're welcome. Just to be clear: I did NOT say or imply that ONLY top-20 models are good models. My original post in June 2011 said, "If you choose a model from the top-20 you are very likely to have a positive experience as these are (generally) models that are experienced in the art of flirting, seduction, positive customer service and have fun with their modeling. The list can be found at http://www.flirt4free.com/models/top20.php This is not to say (of course) that models not ranked in the top-20 are not quality models, but this can often times be a great starting point for a new member to find their first "favorite model". " There are MANY FANTASTIC models that never or rarely make the top-20, or slip out from time to time. My suggestion was a point of reference for newer members looking for their first favorite model and wanting a place to start looking for that special one. I hope you did not take anything negative from that.
Since I wrote this post over a year ago in mid-June 2011, there have been many additions, enhancements, changes, etc. with the hope of raising the member (and model) experience here at our beloved Flirt home. This initial post took quite a long time to write and I don't have the ability to edit the initial post. Maybe someday I'll write a version 2.0 of it, but for the most part (give or take an item here or there, the hints and suggestions still apply and when they do not, we can always add a small revision within the thread.

THANKS A MILLION FOR POSTING THIS ADAM!!! I'm a new model here and i've been trying to get a better understanding of how things work for us models. and this guide helped me greatly. even if it was mainly for members. i'll be able to be more confident during my chats and develop a bigger better fanbase. and i wil most definitely recommend u to a member if they ask me for a recommendation. ;) again, thank you for the advice. hopefully we get to be friends while i'm here.
