Male Performer Chat: Party Or Group Chat...Which Do You Prefer?
I agree group chat is a great way to show off what you can do for your customer before they take you to a private

I like privates best, then maybe Group a close second.
Not a huge fan of Party Chat in general unless it's a model I already know will give it their best shot, (which in case I'll be one of those three or four guys who will carry a whole show). It does get the model additional traffic, but don't whine when the cars aren't all Mercedes..lol
From my experience on Flirt. It takes a really special kind of model/performer to make a Party Chat feel like a party instead of a high-pressured charity auction. The model needs to be able to FIRST correctly assess and gauge his room for enough willing, enthusiastic participants BEFORE starting a Party Chat, then be as engaging as possible in order to keep that high energy level tip-worthy. The tricky part is making the whole thing look easy, relaxed, natural and still be fun. Sounds impossible I know, but I've witnessed that first hand in many Party Chats and had some great experiences.
Unfortunately, nine out of ten times the average model incorrectly assumes that X-number of members=$$$ and that's not always the case. Then the model gets frustrated, loses momentum, or the few tipping members get impatient waaaaay before for the magical "WOOHOO goal" appears. That's the part I really hate about Party Chats, all risk and no guarantees, but even then, an experienced model will know how to gracefully and graciously end a party chat, exit stage left and regroup for another chat later without the drama and trauma.
My biggest Pet Peeve (Oy Vey, I have so many) about Group and Party Chats though? When models publicly gripe and blame members for failed shows. Just saying. Quote

Agreed! Particularly party chats. (which I avoid). I think it takes a certain temperament. Some models recognize that this vehicle is not for them. Others, unfortunately, do not. Quote

I enjoyed the perfect Party Chat/Group Chat combination with the lovely Alam Bee yesterday.
Alam did a Party Chat and set the usual modest targets to "show cock" (about 100) and "go naked" (about 200). He set a target (about 500) for a cum show. I arrived at that point, and saw that he was going to be about 400 short. Lots of guys enjoying the show without paying. I didn't tip (unusually) or say anything as I was pretty sure what was coming next.
The party ended and, sure enough, Alam launched a "Cum on my Abs" Group Chat for 450. We pledged quickly, and Alam easily made his target. I think 3 latecomers made the total 600, and we gave some tips as well. Alam not only did a cum shot, but included a hot dildo show as well.

I am possible not qualified to voice an opinion, as I have not participated in as many Party or Group Chats as other posters have, but I would say that I prefer Group Chats. For some of the few times I have dropped into rooms with Party Chats in progress, the models have been just lying or sitting there waiting for a tip goal to be reached. There was no real interaction between the models and the members, and no real tipping going on.
On the other hand, most of the Group Chats I have participated in have been high-energy, with the models actively engaging with the viewing audience, responding to comments, acknowledging some appropriate requests and ignoring the inappropriate ones. These were much more enjoyable and more satisfying.
This is a little off-topic, but with regards to one of louisphillippe's comments in February (post #100), I enjoy my private chats as well, but I use them almost exclusively for conversations rather than anything sexual. I prefer to participate in Group Chats for that kind of action. It is understandable that some members hold back in Party Chat. They don't want to tip early and then find that the model doesn't reach his target, or the party ends or he is taken off to private. There are no refunds in Party Chat.
However, Group Chat is totally different. There is no reason at all for holding back, as you get a refund if there is no show. I have experienced the annoying situation you describe lots of times, and it has been discussed in the separate Group Chat topic:

...stinks, they are good only if you have the right model and enough members who are willing to tip. In Kenni's room there were always plenty of tippers and Kenni always put on a good show, so it worked well..
phil you are right we will never see a party like king or frank wolf did and it sucks.

As this threads fairly old, I'm sure it's been said that both party and group have their uses and can be very model dependent. Ronnie and z make some very good points as well. It sounds like Alam got things warmed up with party chat and finished the show in group. This is how I like to use party and group in combination. Party turns into a preview, which is useful when it's bringing in members that haven't seen you before. Then, the real show takes place in group where everyone has contributed. I've had successful party chats involving workout shows, etc that lasted an hour plus, but it seems more gratifying for everyone when the sexiest of the sexual takes place in a group chat environment where everyone has had a part in making it happen.
What were the best parts of the party chats Kenni, King, and Frank Wolf did? I'm sure a lot of models would like to bring some old school flavor into their parties

Its hard to describe in retroperspective....you got to be there...it was an unique combination of perfomance of King Kenni and the interaction between him and the members and between the members, which really crowded his room....everybody really had a blast all the time
