Experiences can vary depending on what a guest expects, and what the model has endured during the course of his shift.
When I am in a model's room I try to keep a few things top of mind:
Site rules prevent models from showing what most people want to see in an open room.
Models make their money in private shows. If they "show something" in the open room it's for free. They make nothing from that. It's sort of like asking someone to work for nothing.
Models have to try to entice people into privates. Only there do they - and the site - make any money.
When the room is open, models have to follow the text - usually translating it. Even with the help of translating software, that is a formidable task, especially if the room is busy.
During the course of their shifts, models get asked the same questions over and over again -
Where are you? How old are you? How big is it?
Are you straight, gay or bi? - and so on. Often this will happen several times within a minute as new chatters log in to the room.
Many chatters don't even bother to say hello. They just come in and type out a command to the model.
I don't blame them for getting testy sometimes. I would be the same if it were me trying to sort out who will pay me in a room filled with chatters, most of whom can't or won't go private, but ask for everything under the sun for free - most of the time without so much as a simple greeting.
The bottom line is that if you are not going to pay for anything, don't ask for anything.
