Unfortunately, jerks like that do not read these forums
Also unfortunately, it's easy for any member to come back to your room with a different screen name, so your photographic memory won't necessarily help you
The way to silence jerks who are bad-mouthing you is to ban them from your room. A ban is effective even in they change their screen name

good to know, thank you Quote
when you ban a member, you ban his IP , but if you ban 10 member's you will lose Power Point's so... take care! Quote

So, I suggest a 3-strikes format: first time - give a warning, second time - silence the member, and third time - ban. After being silenced, the member may (or may not) move on. If, however, he returns another time and continues to spread negativity, then jump straight to the ban.

You have the "silence" option, which lasts for 5 minutes (as I recall)
I think you can use this as often as you like
With this option the member can say all the nasty things he wants
He is the only person who sees what he types
He doesn't know that (I love it)
You can ban, but that is more confrontational
If banned the nasty member sometimes posts a number of bad reviews
You can also eject, but that too is confrontational
There is also an "ignore" option which only lasts for 2 minutes (I think)
It still allows other members to see what is typed
That sounds pretty useless to me. Perhaps it should be scrapped
Much better to have a "long silence" option which lasts for, say, 20 minutes

this is not a bad idea, i will try it Quote
I totally agree with you. Coming from another straight performer. People think its cool to come in the room, be mad disrespectful and expect us to give them all the attention in the world. When they haven't even tipped you 1 cent. Some people just hate us straight men and try to bully us while online because thats all they can do. If your a straight man and you have gay friends that's good, it means your not as negative as the rest of the world and your open minded about people. From my recent problems here I have just learned to ignore them and screen shot any creep coming in my room to be disrespectful. Then i just send it to vs broadcasting so they can cancel there accounts. People like that do not deserve to be on the site. Because they make our job here much harder.
Good luck. Quote

Yes that i don't understand so you can't ban people in reality then because if you ban people you lose power points. So now that means sit there and take the abuse. Quote

I think your right. Having a silence option that last for a few hours would be much better that way we don't lose our power score and we can continue to focus and be positive throughout the time spent online.

I think that "a few hours" might be a bit too long, James
You and your fellow performers could ask (in the Studio and Performers forum) for longer silence options than 5 minutes.
I am sure VS could do something.
It would be another change which gives performers more control of their rooms.
It also doesn't seem too big a change compared with others that VS are making at the moment
