I understand a performer would like to get to know a member better and build a rapport with the member by learning more about him or her. This will help maintain and strengthen an online relationship. But how much is too much? I was with a performer who was asking a lot of questions, some of them striking me as things he does not need to know (where I do I work, where I did go to school, my full name, etc.) I have not been here that long so I don't know if I am being overly concerned and misunderstood his intentions (we are from different countries and English is not his 1st language) or if the performer is being too invasive? Thanks for reading and appreciate any replies.

Sounds pretty invasive to me, in particular the full name part :D. There's a reason why we can opt for a number of aliases ... Anonymity and security are sacred here!
Note that most serious performers also don't give their personal details away, some block their streaming in their own states/countries.

You can always tell a performer, that you don't wanna talk about yourself ... and are rather interested in them and what they like ;).

Welcome to Flirt :drinkup.

Totally too invasive. I can understand "what kind of work do you do?" (though I usually won't even answer that), but "where do you work?" is something the performer has no right to know. Ditto "Where did you go to school?" and "What's your full name?" This sounds like a scam in the making, and I'd advise you to steer clear of this person.

These questions are quite invasive, but if as you say English is not his first language, it is possible whatever translation program he might be using is producing several possible options and he just happens to be choosing the one that is most specific and focused.

As far as sharing personal information goes, only share what you feel comfortable with sharing. If he asks you something you're not willing to share, just say "I'm sorry, but I'd rather not say." Most models will respect that, and if this particular model was only being accidentally invasive, then he'll probably understand and stop. And if he wasn't or doesn't, then perhaps it is better to just depart the room rather than continuing to evade his invasive queries.

The same question for dear members. Why are u asking where we live? Exectly city? It isnt site for fast real sex. Why are u asking what we are doing when we are not online ane etc? Its strange to ask it when u see us first time and somebody will never see us more...

Full name versus city of residence do not have equal value. One is an identity the other a general location. However, to answer a question, I like knowing where the person I am interacting with is from in the world.

I ask where a model is located so I can know the time zone and greet him appropriately to his time of day rather than my own (which I feel to be more respectful), but also so that we have something to talk about. That is also why I ask about hobbies and pastimes--to see if we have anything in common and that we can talk about in private. Asking these questions also allows me to gauge the model's responsiveness and whether we are likely to get along well enough for me to spend credits on time with him, or if our personalities are so incompatible that there would be no point on continuing the acquaintance.

I think it is completely up to you what information you share. If you feel that a model is getting too "invasive", you can always ask them to stop.

Good reply zyxwv, I apply many for same reason. If performer is on other side of the world it feels wrong saying good morning if it is their afternoon, good courtesy. Knowing compatibility is a plus and can make time in private much better. :thumbsup
