1. Studios generally make you follow a set schedule. But, even if you home broadcast, it is wise for you to more-or-less keep a schedule when you will be online, and TELL US when you will change that, or what day(s) you will rest. Obviously, we are not online 24/7 looking for you, and will be tempted to move on to someone else. It is easier for you to KEEP a dedicated, current supporter than to find new ones, especially these slow days online.
2. Be friendly and respectful to all fans who are that way to you, including guests and users who have no credits. Many of us started in that category, and remember the models that turned us off (sometimes literally) because we were not making them money. If I see a model be unnecessarily rude and condescending to a new user, my urge to support that model drops considerably.
3. If you list yourself as Gay or Bi, but are really straight, most of us have no problem with that. We understand it is a business decision to "target" the users more likely to benefit you. And, if you decide to share with regulars the fact that you are straight, that's up to you. BUT, don't keep hitting us over the head with it! (While in a JO show: "Wow, the girl I was with last night, was she HOT! ...." That shows us you are insecure sexually, actually.) Realize we know you are SELLING A FANTASY, and - except for a few that lust after "straight boys" - most of us want to at least think you MIGHT be into our fantasy time together.
4. RESPECT OUR TIME. I know models can take a 30 minute break, usually for a meal. We also know that many (non-studio) models often cheat, and reset the timer during the 30 minutes. There is no reason why you need 45-50 minutes for lunch. I've had models who even admit they WENT OUT to a restaurant during their break, and had a friend "reset" the timer for them so they can take as long as they want, This cheating lowers our respect for you and, obviously, disappoints those who assume you will be back on time.
It's the same thing with models who always take frequent shorter breaks, always with an excuse like "I have to make a phone call" or "I have something I need to do." It is impolite to keep your fans waiting unnecessarily. Get everything done BEFORE you go online, when possible.
5. BE REALISTIC with party goals, and consider your competition. With hundreds of other models in various stages of nudity online, asking 250 credits to "kiss" the camera, or to "raise shirt" and show a small amount of skin, is crazy. And although those studio photos you paid for are good, photos of full-clothed fashion models is not what attracts most guys to you. Show a little skin, but reserve full nudity for parties, group shows and privates.
6, Don't show off your expensive digital equipment, designer clothes, new car, stories about recent expensive vacation, etc. - none of which most of us can afford - and then expect us to empty our credit stash in your room. You earned it, good for you. But don't brag about it, or you can alienate your supporters.
7. Lastly, your fans are not ATM machines. If I tipped you heavily in the past (or you heard I tipped someone else heavily), DO NOT think that means you can hit me with "I need 5,000 more credits to qualify in today's promo. Can you do that for me?" as soon as I enter your room.
The above is meant as constructive criticism. A lot of the models showing this behavior are otherwise very attractive, smart guys. Quote

No, they can take as long as they want. But models are only allowed 30 without going offline for the excess. They are cheating users AND other models by RESETTING the break to take an unlimited amount of time instead. They can go off-line for as long as they want. Or even return and take an additional break later.

But what you said was " There is no reason why you need 45-50 minutes for lunch."

Good point! Not what I meant. Although MOST people can likely eat in a half hour, it is up to you if you want to take longer (with the excess OFFLINE, which can have consequences in some cases.)
