Yes, gay realtionships have some obstacles that straight relationships don't have, mostly those inflicted by society's prejudice against us and - in some areas - legal matters that do not recognize gay relationships as equal to others.
But with a minimum of effort, you can find others who support your relationship, and have a long rewarding life with your partner, whether or not you get legally married. I had a professional practcie in the LGBT community, and saw many couples who had been together for 10, 20 and even longer years. My office manager had been with his partner (whom he eventually married) for 36 years! There are examples all around like that.
If you can't find a stable relationship, it is simply because you are not trying for one. It can be done. Quote
