Cam2Cam Now Transmitting Using WebRTC
We have updated the technology Firefox and Chrome customers use to capture your video stream during a Cam2Cam session from Adobe Flash to the more modern WebRTC (Real Time Communications). The purpose of this change is to provide you with a seamless, plug-in free experience when engaging our models in Cam2Cam.
The most notable difference will be in the look. WebRTC uses a standard interface, so the clickable controls will now appear below your video feed rather than above it. Your browser will also prompt you to "Allow" camera and microphone access each time you initiate a session.
Web browsers supporting WebRTC will auto-configure your microphone and camera. However, if you need to make a change, follow the corresponding instructions below:
For Chrome:
• Select "Settings" from the browser menu
• Choose Advanced>Content Settings>Camera or Advanced>Microphone to configure the devices.
For Firefox:
• When starting a Cam2Cam broadcast, your browser will prompt you for permission to access, and give you the opportunity to change auto-configured settings
• Future changes can be made by clicking the camera icon in the navigation bar and using the controls provided
At this time, Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Apple Safari do not support WebRTC. For users of these browsers, the Adobe Flash plugin is still available. Quote

First time trying C2C under new protocol (WebRTC) in Chrome. Is it me, or has the "time remaining" disappeared, replaced with 30-seconds warning? Having time left shown was very helpful in avoiding "rushes" at end of shows.
