I Don't see any reason why a member could not tell a model in open chat that they think there may be a technical problem, I'm sure if you whispered it the model would end up asking the rest of the room for verification anyway !!!
I also like to just whisper a kiss or a smile to a model to let them know I'm there and that I care.
Could you not achieve the same thing with a 5 or 10 credits tip in open , or simply making a nice comment in open ?

Some of us always don't have the cash to do shows or leave tips. A quick whisper is a good way to show my appreciation in a private manner.
Not every technical glitch is something I want to draw attention to to everyone.

If you don't have any cash to even give a 5crefit tip then why even come to the site? Your wasting the models time she could be giving to those who do have money. Remember this is a job, not a Charity for Freeloaders.

this is a way for pretty chicks to sit around in their mismatched undies and take money from dudes. charity goes both ways around here. the name of the parent site is flirt 4 FREE, in case the big bad nickel throwing crowd has forgotten that. if you think begging someone to do something fucked up for 50 cents isn't a waste of her time, think again. if brad's response to the lower denom. tips thread was read, the point that they were clearly created to boost business before whisper removal so the powers that be could have basis to counter the whisper boycott movement they knew would happen would have been seen clearly. Not being allowed to whisper has been bought and will be paid for in nickels and dimes. ain't a damn difference between those that do and those that don't have money around here. what a dick thing to say.

If that was the only use I had for whispers, it wouldn't bother me.
However, I do like to use the whispers to let a girl know what I'm looking for in pvt, and make sure she is agreeable to my needs at that moment. I don't really want to have that conversation in a public forum. There is always some troll lurking to ridicule one's desires.
That being said, some kind of daily limit would probably be a good compromise. I'm ok with public general conversations, and a whispered pvt negotiation when it's needed.

Do you go to a restaurant order a glass of water, and free bread sticks? If your broke stay home, and come back on payday. That's fine if you want to sit in a models room like a Freeloader, just don't waste their time with whispers. Your taking the time they could be using to give attention to the paying customers. Using the I just want to whisper a model to let them know I appreciate them because I'm broke, and don't have any credits to tip is a Lame Excuse. If you need to express something you don't need to whisper just do a Heart Emote. I see people whisper to a model for hours. When they finally leave I ask the Model if they ever go Private or tip, usually the answers is they did a few weeks ago. I know they don't tip because I didn't see anything on the Models More Gifts in their bio. If you need Free Porn Google it, you can find all you want until you have some money on payday. I Open Tip my Favorite Models every time I come to their room, and if I don't have credits to tip I don't even come to the site. Maybe they should change it to Flirt4Freeloaders. Any tip is better than no tip, they do add up after awhile. If you go to a room of 70 people, and you have maybe 6 people who do tip or go Private. Imagine if the other 64 just tipped 5 credits that would be 320 credits to a model. They should make it so that if you don't have Credits, you can't whisper.

nobody likes an attention hog. Whisperer or not. Paying customer or not. Fifty cent tips don't make you better than the guy that took the model private two weeks ago. Try treating models like people and not slot machines hoping if you pump enough coin into them they will love you back. Whisperers don't demand anymore attention than dudes in open chat. They don't disjoint conversation anymore than the ego-maniacs that can only see what they and the model type. Whispering has no direct connection to how much spare change you have in your pocket. It was an instant discreet communication option open to anyone who has ever registered with the site. Now please reply from the coffee house that supplies free wifi and free refills to the general public... Quote

I have seen the model say repeatedly "No,I still don't do (insert request). Stop asking" in response to a whisperer that appears to be persistant in asking that "secret" question. Just saying. Quote

It's the feeling I get too about a lot of the no-whispering proponents - can't bear to think they're missing out on something with the model.
I normally have grey chat turned off, but my meagre brain manages to handle the break in the normal flow of chat when the model talks to the greys. I'm surprised there have been no complaints from certain quarters about this feature causing problems in the flow of the chat.
