Hi, Veronika...
Have you tried doing a teasing show, encouraging members to tip to see more lubricious activity? Also, it doesn't hurt to spend some down time in other models' rooms to see how they steam up Party Chat. Quote
The idea of paying a cover to enter a party chat will not work with the trash models the site has allowed to come here. They make promises to do something in party chat, members pay their cover charge to enter and then the model leaves, has a "computer malfunction" or some other excuse. Now, you have members who have paid the trash model to enter their party chat and received nothing in return. Even worse - when you complain to the site, what will be done to the model? Nothing. They will be allowed to remain on the site and continue their dishonest practices. From what I have seen of the party chats I've entered, most of them are a waste of credits. Too many trash models are using it to rip off the members.

2) find and permanently ban anyone using a Replay Media Catcher to record RTMP .FLV streams ... there's F4F pirated vids all over rapid share, filestube, etc; many with sponsored links
We have two solutions for this in the works. One involves encrypting the streams; the other involves periodically flashing the IP and/or username on top of the video stream every so often (in open, private, VOD, etc.) in a non-annoying way but in a way that would allow us to trace it back to the offending user when we find these clips.
We actually have someone on staff whose job it is to get those removed so please send the links to our support department if/when you come across them.

One point about "beggars" that I keep forgetting to mention is that we would likely add two buttons for performers:
- Block video from unregistered users
- Block chat from unregistered users (they could read, but not type)
This ends a lot of the nonsense right there. Further, the minute that a performer who is so inclined starts doing something interesting the beggars will leave and rush to that room.
I think we might all be surprised that this idea could curtail begging instead of increasing it.

With all due respect I have a long list of about 16 to 20 registered VIP and "WHITE" members
that are constantly annoying everybody going around daily from 1 a.m.to 6 a.m. New York time,
asking the models always the same idiotic questions:
"Ooohhh...MMMmMMmmm... !!!.I wonder how you taste.."....
" MmMmMm...Ya know exactly what you are doing to me..don't ya???....
" I'm about to blow.Wanna do something about it??"...
" You caught my attention...Show me your ass and I'll take you private bb.."...
" MmMMm...I wish I could smell you ....get closer.."
".... and my most favorite one ROFLMAO!!!: " Hey bb...you are so hot !!!...I'm a porno scout and
producer and I want to see the goods right now !..."
Yeap....registered FREETARDS are as common or even worse that "GRAYS"....
But grays we have all learned to ignore and even have become invisible to most of us....
How can a model ignore a VIP or a "WHITE" member??

John Jay is correct as he always is. That format has been very successful at another site which is essentially this sites "party chat" only it is all the time. The biggest problem the other site has is when they have new models sign up and within their first few days they scam people by setting goals to do something, they reach the goal, and then go offline without doing anything. That should not be a problem here because this site screens its models much more. On the other site, anybody at all can make an account and start asking for tips an hour later. Another huge problem with that other site is that they have WAY too many models and very few of them are any good. On this site, most of the people who should not be models are weeded out pretty quickly.
Also, this new format will eliminate the problem of rules being applied differently to different studios and different sites. In some studios, none of the rules about what is forbidden in open chat are enforced. In other studios, the rules are applied very harshly with severe penalties to some models, while other models - even in the same studio, are permitted to break the rules. Recently the lady who runs the SPB studios had a power surge and fired several models for doing things that other models at the SPB studios still do all the time.
This new format of "Tipping Shows" should eliminate most of the restrictions imposed on models in a selective way. Here is an example. In society, there are many rules that are rarely if ever enforced, such as the law against jay-walking. If people commonly jay-walk, but a policeman with an agenda decides to write a citation or arrest one particular person for jay-walking while letting other people get away with it, then that is unfair. If there is a curfew at 11pm at night, but police only enforce the curfew on people of a certain race, that is unfair.
I know this message is long and rambling. Its intent is to point out the benefits and possible problems with the new tipping format.
I still think something needs to be done about abusive grays though. The way other sites handle the equivalent of "grays" is to KICK them out of the room for a few minutes. They also allow the models to appoint their own user moderators who have the power to kick the "grays" for them.

Reginald Ister, you seem to be latching on to a few old threads and ignoring many intermediate posts as well as other threads on the same subject. John Jay's statement which you quoted in your post was made in August last year. Party Chat has been discussed ad nauseum in this and other threads. This particular thread was started last year to get member feedback before Party Chat was introduced, however Party Chat at Flirt4Free was introduced in August last year and is no longer "new" as you suggest

Thanks for pointing that out! I didn't look closely at the date of the post that started the thread. I did not read the 331 intermediate posts either - ad nauseum as you say. BUT, I stand by my comments which are still valid.
However, what I thought was a NEW format that solved some problems is actually an old format now, which has had only partial success. The problems I mentioned are still big problems.
To summarize my point, all rooms should be playing with the same set of rules, whether they are a room being broadcast from someone's home, or from a studio in the U.S., Columbia, Russia, Romania, etc. That is NOT the case at all. In fact their seems to be a different set of rules for different russian models even though they are the same studio being managed by the same lady.
Here is one example that is in my head at the moment. The russian studios do not participate in the VOD postings.. but there are exceptions. Larry Lord has a new VOD posted, and he is definitely in the russian studios. I don't understand why. That reminds me of another difference. Despite claims that all models are given the power to ban users, almost no russian models have that power. However, again, Larry Lord has that ability, and he hits that ban button so often that he must have worn the ink off of one of the keys on his keyboard. He is one of 4 models on the site that bans anybody who doesn't go private or tip him within minutes of entering his room.

There is a simple explanation ... there are several Russian studios, only two of which do not make their models' videos available Quote

Very true jeffe, I have many videos of Russian models. A lot of them can be shared.

I thought the same way you do, but I have asked several of the Russian models and they consistently say that even though there are multiple studios, they are all all run by the same managers and apparently all in SPB. In fact, several of the studios were set up for operation by former megastar model Pitt who just about launched this site along with the Canadians. If you look in the archives, this site used to be almost completely Toronto models for years, and now they are virtually all gone except for a few.
I know that the Larry Lord studio which allows him to ban everyone for no reason and have VODs is in the same city (SPB) as the main russian studio which does not allow anything. I suspect the reason is that the manager is physically at the strict location and ignores the satellite studios spread across the city. Quote

I don't know where you get your ideas from, but the only part of your post which is correct is that years ago the male models on Flirt4Free were mostly from Toronto. Everything you have said about Russian models and studios is incorrect. In particular, the idea that Pitt "just about launched this site" is laughable Quote

I don't know where you get your information from, but you are completely wrong. For one thing, I have spoken to the creator of the Toronto site many times - Brian Gillis. And his models were the only thing on this site for years. If you look at the VIP section, you will see page after page of nothing but models with a giant Canadian Flag behind them.
As for Pitt, Pitt was probably the most successful model ever on this site, but is not in the hall of fame because he stopped doing shows on a regular basis before the Hall Of Fame was created. Pitt did a few shows about 2 years ago, and I would not be surprised if he did more shows in the future just to show everybody that he still is the king. If you look at the vip section, you can see Pitt from the first days of this site in interviews. Pitt went from being a model to being a manager and studio designer, etc. The current manager of the SPB site has the idea that she created the Universe, but it is not true. If anything, she is messing up a network of SPB studios that was doing just fine to begin with. If you think the idea of Pitt launching the site is laughable, I don't know how you would explain his interview from August 16, 2004 and the fact that he was consistently Model of the Month for a long time. I was chatting with him way back then.
I am sure there are people who know more about these things than I do, but I have found that you and Ophelia Rass consistently post very short posts, flooding the forums, with misinformation, hostility, flames, ridicule, and garbage. I must say however, that about half of your posts are good, unlike Ophelia Rass who should change her name to Debbie Downer because she never has a nice thing to say and is always wrong.
I would suggest that instead of attacking my messages, simply post your own messages to reflect your thinking. It is a very bad idea to have a forum turn into a flaming war contest. That is what the IRC is for. Frankly I think that all posts in which one member mentions another member should be deleted. I would not be offended if my posts that mention other members were deleted as long as the people who take a piss on my comments are also deleted.
They created a GAMES forum on this site for people to post nonsensical posts. Perhaps they should also create a PLAYPEN for all the mentally challenged bullies to post their flames and say thinks like "you suck", "neener neener", and "Yo momma so fat that when she turns all the way around, people say 'Welcome back!'"
One last bit of triva. Before this site existed, Canada had a stranglehold on internet porn for a long time, both from Toronto and Vancouver. The Vancouver site - long gone - began as an ice cream company! It then grew into a very advanced - for the time - internet provider of porn and cyber gambling. Their demise can be seen if you look up Starnet in stock reports. They went from nothing, to a price of over $14 per share and spiked at $22 for a very short time, then something happened and overnight their stock plummeted down to $5 and then slowly trickled down to $2 and eventually vanished altogether. In those days, it wasn't even carried on the internet yet! People would use dial-up modems and access the site through a bulletin board! That was a problem because every time a show would get hot, people would log in and nobody would log out - overloading the servers and locking up the video everytime the action got going.
One final bit of trivia.. really. The king of this site's early days was Pitt. The Vancouver king before this site was Kirk, who was also the cyber model in episode 1, part 2 of the U.S. version of Queer As Folk (the one that the accountant character was watching at work). Kirk was also on an episode of Jerry Springer in a fake 3 way relationship with his duo partner Marie St. Claire and a cross-dressing Pierce Vendetta. Pierce Vendetta did several movies that you can look up. He is extremely good in his movies. Even before Kirk, there was Raph@el in Vancouver who might just be the first King of male cyberporn. He still does movies as Rick Hammersmith. One funny story about Rick is that he has 3 brothers, and they are ALL gay! His parents got so frustrated to pass on their DNA that they adopted a straight boy and kept his older brothers AWAY from him. I suggest searching on Rick's name, you will find some old stuff that is very good. A funny thing about the Vancouver site (now long gone) was that the straight monitors would often get so excited that they would join in on both the female and male shows to get their units serviced or just to show off their packages and butts. So let me get this straight - you are implying that this site only really came into its own when Pitt 'Launched' it back in 2004 ?
Err - hmm - umm WRONG this site is close to 15 YEARS old, hell there is at LEAST 2 performers on the female side that were here back in '02 and are STILL HERE. Stick that in ya trivia pipe and smoke.

As you can see in the copyright this site was founded 1996 - am waiting now for Trivia to be corrected that Regi can keep up his Hero-Pitt-Fanaticism

But what was Regi's intention - I forgot it Quote
