Because it is the "end of the 2 week period" eve, I have been granted the space for a few terse remarks:

Retaining members' chat abilities doesn't sanction abuse in the open room. So retaining whisper does not sanction whisper abuse. Oh oh oh and whisper abuse is the same as any other kind. It shouldn't be tied to the feature itself.

Sherry is not necessary but it is more palatable than turpentine. You don't need a starter for your car but it beats rolling it down the hill. A corkscrew is a great luxury but then you don't need to smash the bottle neck on the kitchen counter.

I was here before the whisper. The site was FAAAAAAAAR better IMHO when both member and model could whisper. My fav of all time was a heavy user. Doesn't mean it is for everyone. But everyone should respect that some of us enjoy it and therefore try to preserve it.

I think that the whisper option was a good thing..I dont know how disruptive it was...but it still seems like there is alot of disruption in open chat with al these people in grey type... remove them for 2 weeks and bring the whisper back !

is this forum only for VIP's I thought only VIP's had option to turn off greys..i could be wrong,lord knows it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong

Keep going dudley - I think you put the argument for keeping whisper very eloquently.

I too remember when models and members could whisper and would agree that it was when Flirt was at its best. The site doesn't seem to be going in the right direction at the moment as far as I can see - less features and all rooms to adhere to a 'party' atmosphere beloved by some but not all.

I know Phil_USA is being playful, but just to clarify: In the models' rooms, only VIPs can turn off the grays. The rest of us must endure them as best we may. Of course, if the model still talks to the grays, one can only imagine what a disjointed chat experience it must be for the VIP who turns them off.

Which reminds me of another reason for whispers. I've encountered any number of new models who have been busily trying to please "basic members," unaware that such "members" have no accounts or credits. A judicious whisper corrects this situation, without risking the outrage of those "members."

The site is better with whispers.

totallybogus, I'm aware of some seasoned veteran models who happily converse with greys, perhaps negating any need for, as you put it, "judicious whispering"!

chinmusic: There are indeed veteran models who converse with everyone. They are true pros, and I salute them. However, I am thinking of brand new models who have absolutely no idea how the site works, or the types of membership. (Amazing how many models have NO idea what they signed up for when they agreed to model on here). They can spend their first day doing everything in their power to please grays, with nary a credit for their efforts, all the while wondering what they are doing "wrong." Thanks to a quick whisper, and an encouraging tip, they take control of their room, and come back to flirt another day.

I hate to admit this and would rather whisper it...but here goes. I came to this site a number of years ago as a grey and a couple of the better models at that time took the time to chat to me and convinced me to become a VIP. I know this is off topic :offtopic

but i could not resist. Next time i will whisper this so i wont disturb the topic in the "room"

Exactly the reason why most of us joined the site and the whisper basically kills that way to incourage new people to join as members. I have to say since the site added it I have seen a lot less new people in the chat rooms (maybe because they whisper, doubt it but maybe some) or they are just not incouraged to register after being a free grey user and getting no attention or the chat just seems to make no sense because half the converstaion is hidden or worse like I said it makes the chat rooms look like they are recorded and not live (we have all seen some advert or site spam that does the fake video and chat i'm sure). I think it is ashame when new people like the site but can't get a reaction from the performers or may not even type because they think it is generated chat and recorded video.

Happy to see you realised many nice performers here and many that will take the time to chat to all and even incourage grey users nicely to register as members. :thumbsup

to these performers for taking the time to do that

. I enjoy seeing new blood added to the site in the forms of new performers and customers.
