Yesterday and today with two different models when in private screen goes black then return within 5-7 seconds. When I use old interface with one this didn't happen but with the other one it did. Any suggestions??

Doug, I have had it happen with the new interface, during a multi user show. The screen would go black as other people entered or left the show.

New Interface-Same thing happens to me in private shows. Screen goes black for 5 seconds every time someone enters and leaves as a voyeur.

Did this occur in the middle of a show or at the beginning? Was this occurring repeatedly with these two models or did it happen twice? Did you have any shows in between these two incidents where it worked without the blackout?

Doug, This happened at different times throughout the privates. Yesterday and today same models same thing black out for 5-8 seconds. I missed the best part of the private.

The new interface does this consistently when other members join or leave the room during pvt/multi shows (as voyeurs or joining a multi show). I think I saw something similar early on with group shows as well, but don't know if it still does it there. It's like the video stream is resyncing when parties are added or removed. I can't remember if the audio drops out during this period or not. This does not appear on the VOD. It is particularly annoying when voyeurs enter and leave often trying to save credits. In my opinion this is the biggest remaining defect in the new interface.

It does it in the Fan Club Shows too and the Feature shows. It's been there since day one that problem and was reported on the VIP thread that vs_scottl was trying to figure out why we didn't like the new interface and then added fixes to the new interface that made it usable for us all.

I did some testing with this and found what I believe is the source of the video interruptions each time users enter or leave. I will need to make some updates to the code that handles the video and we'll try this again.

I experienced this again today in private using the new interface around 1:50 pm (eastern time).

If I use the old interface in open chat and I go pvt or do an offer show, would it still log me in with the old interface? I had blackouts too with the new interface.

I use the old interface all the time in open chat.

When you start a private show it always switches back to the new interface. I just select "old interface" again. It wastes a few seconds at the start of the private show, but otherwise everything works as well as it used to

I have done about 30 private/multi-user shows in the last 2 months. All (except 1) using the old interface

I am still experiencing the black-outs in privates using new interface. Any word on correcting this issue?? Thanks Flirt team for the help.

Lately I've had some time to dig into this and test this more and it led to some changes to the video class that I believe will fix this problem for you guys.

I will be releasing this update next week, preferably as early as possible and we'll see if this update is able to remove the problems you have been experiencing.

Published a fix for this problem this afternoon. I am seeing absolutely no flicker or blackouts whenever other users are a private show anymore.

The next time you get a chance, please let me know whether this fixes the problem for you guys.

For good measure, please be sure to clear your cache, just in case your browser has decided to hold on to the old file.
