I'm sorry to say that I'm not coming up with anything obvious as to why you're unable to view video so if you'll indulge me I'd like to ask some questions:
- Is it possible you could try a different browser and see if the experience is different? (I'm not suggesting this is the ultimate solution, I just want to narrow down the possibilities)
- Do you have any add-ons to your browser that might interfere with the video (ad blockers come to mind)?
- Does this happen to you in every room or just a select few?

We did just find one problem with SSL certificates on some of the newer video servers and we have updated. If someone could check back in with whether their problem has been solved or not I'd appreciate it.

I did some testing and did find rooms I can connect to in chrome but not in edge, so that may not be the answer. Quote

Could you please describe your issues with loading rooms ? How does the problem manifest itsel?

I asked a couple of follow up questions above. Please give them a look and let me know the answers.

Yes, there was a new player technology that was put into production on tuesday, 5/29. The video you watch in the new player will have a substantially reduced latency vs the previous default player, on par with Flash if you were still using it. This does come at the expense of a short buffering period when loading.
You and others have mentioned that sometimes it will work and other times it will not. It would be great to get some examples of which worked for you and which didn't. Also a screen shot might help out just to make sure that we're on the same page. Also, when it does fail it should eventually fail over to the previous player setup. Please let me know if that is or isn't happening.

If you use Firefox 64-bit (Quantum) and don't login it will default to HTML video (non-flash) and things work fine. Fullscreen video also works. The moment you login it changes back to using Flash and the icon disappears for choosing Flash. If you disable the Shockwave flash addon then video won't display. It also subverts the plugin when it's set to "Ask to Activate" in the Add-ons section of your browser and automatically activates.
Here's a screenshot showing what it looks like in the lower left corner of the browser when you're not logged in versus logged in. https://imgur.com/a/eQQP1Ym
This is Windows 10, latest spring updates. Edge does the same thing. Chrome works ok.

Well, I can't say if it was the same with other's but I did not see much difference in latency, between the old player used and flash when swooped between them. Know way of seeing the difference now between the new one and flash.
The fact of it not working I'm not 100% sure if it are side having the issue to connecte to there video server, or it to do with side as it might be there cam having issues connecting to site so then it can't be found are side, As know that can be the case sometimes.

Thanks, Shadfax for posting what it looks like now in the corner when logged in and not. It is like that for chrome, firefox, opera and edge. Why does it change like that for us? as there should not be any change to the site from the different modes of being on it, both should be showing it and giving people the chance to pick what best will suit them.
I not sure when we are logged in and it trying to load model's video server it kicks us to flash mode, don't see it showing the flash icon before the thing in the corner goes, would it not just change to that and stay if was the case so knew was flash mode? plus don't see how it could override changes to browser settings if people have flash set to off or set to ask first should just see a black screen in that case if set that way. Also if by the chance it is somehow kicking people to flash mode, would that not mean when we are logged in for some reason the new browser video that site now be using does not work?
I not sure about others but myself I liked the function of being able to swoop between browser and flash mode to find out what best suited me, and encase if one started playing up for one reason could change to the other. So I would like that to come back when am logged in again like it should be. Quote
