oh sigh oh dear oh me oh my ... is it really THAT important that the idiot "daisy_mae" from such and such pitching her .99 fugly girls be suppressed ... hell i used to love flirting with them and having them occasionally flirt back ...
hell more than 1/2 the girls on the site now are multi-casting ... with their sound on you can hear the door bells chime, the cow bells struck ... ffs anyone with any experience knows where they all fuck for funds ... but my particular objection is that even multiple spaces or ()s or "."s are now viewed as incoming warnings about having attempted to post a LINK ffs ... and i cannot even post ideograms of my lovely tits damnit (o )( o) turns me from a "c" cup inta a damn A!
do please smack the other monkeys in fezzes and get them on the path to Banana Heaven will ya?
thanks
Mandy

the new interface accepts URLs that are partially edited ... e.g. {http://www.flirt4free.com/forums}
can be entered by eliminating the http://
it then does not asterisk and *LINK* the f outta it ... further editing such as replacing '.'s with (.)s use to resolve any other issues ... now however even typing the sort of ellipsis that i litter my written style of writing with ... blows the entire stack and a warning alert regarding YOU ARE DOOMED BITCH FOR HAVING ATTEMPTED TO ENTER A URL IN THE CHAT! is delivered
my point, philosophically and from a business point of view is this ...
the most common URLs which the chatters on this, semi-home of mine, site enter fall into only a couple categories
1. TubeYou music URLs ... granted some idiots do not use the "Share" sweet short ones instead pulling the entire 200 character long one from the navigation bar
2. Links to funny shit on the web ... believe it or not Doug most of these free jackin' pervs that cater to this site also have elevated senses of humor #whodathunk eh?
3. spam bots like the one i referred to previously ... but have you seen em much lately Doug? me either and when i do they are usually cleverly edited to pass the acceptability test using the same methods i've described above
4. Idiots (similar to myself) who post links at models and friends in chat that take their pals to self-owned worlds of illusion ... in my case my writings or those of other higher level beings. In my case there is no competitive nature to it with VS Industries Inc. ... believe me all of the VS management knows i do more to maintain and promote this place in my chosen genre than most others *shrug* "love is an addictive illness after all"
In conclusion ... i understand the still remaining slightly paranoiac need to keep your customers safe from those horrid nasty badly presented and operated alter-porn sites ... but i really do wonder how much of the biz would be lost here if filtering of URLs were simply dropped and instead models were told to ban the hell outta any pop up chatters *shrug* ... i don't think anyone really believes that they're gonna get the same quality from the dude named "Tammy' on "i fuck for sammies"dot com ...
a final thing (i'm not going back to edit the intro here to make sure i put this in) ... the first version of the 'new' interface did allow entire URLs to be put in the silly bubbles and then cut and pasted into a navigation bar ... no editing required at all ... i remember having done that and praising it ... i was surprised at the time and am not surprised to be seeing what is happening now.
THE REAL STUFF of my complaint is the same as others
elipsies ...
multiple //
multiple any sort of punctuation sign draws a tiny grey (on my mac) box that is just WRONG about both content of the [send] i've made and about my intention ...
fix it bub if you haven't already done so (i'd beg like some do for boops and pizzy but pffttt)
i'm a writer and have become quite good at it 'tour the forums and view some of my shite' ... and to punish the correct use of the languages used by myself and others is not just a programming issue or error ... it's an insult.
and yes ffs ... i do refer to the tech staff (Jason and John included) as MY Monkeys in Fezzes ... wtf i've known most of you, sometimes only in passing, for years now ... and i lube you all mucho bb; so don't take offense when you get gifts on your cubicle work surface of a nanner or two ... *shrug*
Mandy
Post Script
i do not think that 'forum' appeared in my original tirade ... but if it did i apologize for any confusion my dear. the forums handle URLs properly ... in my opinion as they should cos' of that being a place where kooze and twat and methods of expanding human flesh is rarely paid much attention to ... (NOT) ... (chuckling with my pal the woodchuck over that) ... there are plenty of reviews of posts made by VS personnel to ensure that no bothersome alter-sex site URLs promoting juggling midgets in states of undress or dancing bears or sex with simulated aliens are left un *REMOVED*
i almost forgot ... fer you Doug ...
