I recently saw on Flirt's Twitter account a customer appreciation promo code ("FlirtLovesYou") for 33% more credits and figured I would stock up on credits-- a win for everyone, right? Wrong . When I put in the code I got an error message that it was no longer valid. I went back to Twitter to double check the post. The only thing it listed in regards to an expiration date was "expires June 18th" (today). Since no time zone or time of day was listed, I would think that means the code is good until the end of the 18th, or the end of today. But to be safe, I figured maybe the code was only valid UNTIL the 18th.... in which case it still should have worked because it was still the 17th Pacific Time (the time zone in which every code I can ever think of using has expired). It is frustrating because I feel slighted when things like this occur. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and I'm not sure if it is a technical fluke on my part or false advertising Quote
I got the banner add with that same promo, but when I clicked on it, it said "You are not eligible for this discount". While I totally understand that you want to target low spenders, don't show my an offer if it doesn't apply to me.
