Technical Support: going mobile
so can someone fill me in on why I can write in the forums,well one line anyway before the cursor starts jumping around..using android 2.1 but replying to mail doesn't work? site thing or droid thing? mobility is another spice of life...

It could have something to do with the touchscreen, if your phone is indeed a touchscreen, as I don't know much about Android phones.

Which web browser are you using ?
Try www.skyfire.com
or www.uzard.com
Also some information for windows mobile and Symbian users that use skyfire 1.5 or any 1.0 version.
Skyfire does not work on these platforms anymore. ( crazy I know seems they finally decided to go down Apple and androids routes only and us poor people that helped them develop and bug test got thrown out in the cold.)

Windows Mobile users try Uzard link above seems to work fine on the old style chat but having some loading problems with the new chat interface (lets hope someone in VS has a windows mobile phone and can bug test the new chat with the uzard browser).

Skyfire, Dolphin, and the stock browser all choke on the mail.. none of them recognize the white box as a text entry area. Ah well, no on-the-go replies from me, the ladies will just have to wait.

Uzard browser is working fine for me on the site mail and other parts of the site, only the new chat does not work. Give it a try, url in my other comment above.

just an update..
tried uzard, surprisingly all aspects of the site function.. even the room vid actually works. fluidity of the browser kinda jacky tho. guess rooting comes next.ah well, thanks for the tip bro Quote
