This site has been a complete mess since this latest update. I had absolutely zero issues prior to it.

But now, watching performers using the Nano HTML5 player gives the 720p or higher option, but also results in non stop lag. It doesn't matter what performer I'm watching, which indicates to me it's a server side issue. Dropping the resolution down to 480p manually makes it smooth. But this is 2021, not 1998...nobody (especially a paying customer) should have to settle for such archaic picture quality.

HLS player is smooth, but the picture quality is noticeably worse, and definitely not HD. It's more like 480p or lower. Totally useless.

Chrome is the only browser that allows the Nano player option, btw. Edge and Firefox both default to HLS (and its 480p resolution) with no option for an alternative player. I'm guessing because they don't support HTML5 like chrome does.


So what's the workaround here to get HD streaming without the choppiness? This is pretty ridiculous...not sure why the developers tried to fix something that wasn't broken.

Before you ask, I'm on a 1gb fiber optic connection with consistent 600kb/s download speeds over wifi. It's not me.

flirt4free team you need to actually address the issue publicly instead of sending automated email replies. I've got the exact same issue and it's extremely appalling. buying credits for pvt shows with such terrible video quality and lag is just customer scamming and non-delivery of purchased goods and services. here in australia that's illegal under the consumer law so i should just send you a legal notice for a refund or see your team in court. simply see Valve's loss in court where they were ordered to pay a $3 million penalty for non-compliance with the ACL. Update on my post above - this doesn't seem to be the solution - sometimes it works, sometime not. Hopefully F4F can post a solution here. The chats are so choppy, it freezes every couple of seconds (along with the audio too) making it really painful to watch!

HLS is an outright joke, and f4f admins should be ashamed. It's definitely upscaled 480p.

Why on earth did you change what was working before years ago? I was getting better video quality and a smoother experience as a member back in 2018.
