Technical Support: How do I delete posts?
Is it possible to delete posts? I've posted replies asking admins to take them down but I worry they may not see them quickly. Also as I have said in many other arenas, I would like to publically and formally apologize for any posts that may or may not have been seen by anyone. They were feelings I should have kept to myself and I am embarassed and ashamed. Again, I would like to formally apologize for anyones sensibilities that were affected by my poor behavior.

nope ... once posted you are there forever ... with luck your threads/comments will float down to the layers where amicu and i labor.

You can't actually delete a post, and adminstrators have better things to do than to delete posts on a whim. On their own whim, perhaps, but not on yours
You have a two hour window in which you can edit a post. Again, you can't delete it, but you can edit it back to nothing. After that initial two hours, as Amanda says, your post is there forever Quote
there's the old saying..."Think twice post once" or something stupid like that... or did I just make that up? Hmmm time for my next shock treatment

To delete posts, simply contact support on the site at CustomerService@vs.com with your reason. I'd my topic deleted today within 3 minutes of mailing them

Actually, I didn't want to reopen this post for an answer. I just found a quick solution that I wanted to update here so that it comes handy for others. Contacting support by email and giving a reason to have your post taken down seems to work faster as they took down my post within 3 minutes. I didn't even want to edit it, I just wanted the whole stuff off the planet, it was that embarassing ;p
