As well as from 10 March onwards, storyboards were also missing for a few dates in January.
Customer Services told me that nothing can be done about my recorded private shows, where the storyboards are missing. Surely if the recorded show is there, it would be possible to do something about it, even if the storyboards were missed out at the time.
Is the storyboard process working properly for all shows that are being recorded at present ? I am not too sure about it, looking at the VoDs in April seems to be inconsistencies there.
For me storyboards form part of the package of having a show on here, but at the moment I cannot be certain that they will appear each time I have a show that is recorded.

We had a "snafu" with the storyboards (very technical, I know). The problem was that our system relied on 7-digit ID numbers for recorded shows. Somewhere early this year the # of recordings in our system started going into the 8-digit range which broke a few things.
1. Storyboards were showing up but for the wrong videos.
2. New storyboards were being saved incorrectly.
We fixed #1 relatively quickly and then fixed the script that generates the storyboards for #2. Unfortunately we fixed this after some damage was done and had to reset thousands of VODs so that the storyboarding process could be re-run on them. This is a fairly intensive thing and the system is designed to priorize new recordings over older ones. It should be finished soon and then everything will be back in business.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Once of those growing-pain type of problems. When we launched VOD back in 2007 who would have thought that we'd have over 3.7 million recorded shows. Crazy.

As well as points (1) and (2), I think there is a third element, which I was trying to refer to recorded shows for which storyboards have not been created at all in the first place, and are still missing.
I can see that progress has been made on the recordings in March. I am not sure if the re-run will pick up the few recordings from January and February that have storyboards missing. I hope it will.
There are currently many VoDs starting from about 1 April without storyboards, although it has been mentioned priority is being given to new recordings. I assume that the storyboards will eventually appear for these recordings.
Hopefully the system will be back to normal soon with storyboards always being created for recorded shows, and within reasonable time. Just need to be re-assured about this.
Whilst on the topic of storyboards, it would be great if the rotational storyboards (mouse-over version) worked when looking through My Live Shows too. They used to, until about September 2014, but now they only work via the models video library. Not all models place all their recorded shows there. I think they should work in both places.

The problem of storyboards missing just never used to occur before they used to be there for every recorded show. At the moment they just seem to appear on random occasions. Why are the storyboards just not there for so many of the recorded shows since around 1 April this year ?
With the absence of storyboards, customers are getting less now, than they did in the past, and this has all happened following an increase in prices for credits last year. For me, the storyboards makes having private shows more worthwhile, and were something to look forward to after a show. My view is that, at the least, the storyboards should be there to customers for their own shows.
Surely, if the recording is there, the storyboards can be still be produced. It would be great if the problems can be resolved both for the future, and for past recordings from this year where the storyboards are missing.
